Chod: Helene here. First of all, I am SO happy that your family is doing well and is recovering smoothly! Secondly, I wanted to say something about reactors: I have sampled a couple of dozen of them over the past year or so, and I have settled on a handful of folks whom I will drop what I’m doing to see their reactions. Your channel is one of them. Why? Because the very best reactors create a COMMUNITY...not just “subs”. Done right, the reactor sets the tone of the community, and eventually people start reacting as an extended family...caring about the reactor and about one another. Sharing as much as you feel comfortable with about your life is fine.....if you want to have virtual “friends” and not just “subs”. What you just shared was moving to me, because it tells me that with you, it has become a two-way street: You not only give us pleasure by reacting to music we love, but WE in turn have helped YOU. I have been lucky enough to find several such communities on KZbin, including now yours, and it has been wonderful during this pandemic when I cannot visit with my friends in person (we are all older, so more at risk) to have these online communities. Also, the reactors I’m drawn to are, like you, respectful of the music and wait until the end to discuss their reactions. It’s about the music, not hearing themselves talk. So....I guess a long-winded way of saying that I appreciate YOU, Chod, and this community that you’ve created. Have you done any live-streaming? That’s a great way to get to know your subs better and to help build a sense of community......Take real good care, Chod, and we’ll catch ya later.

Thanks for being Real, dude. I'm glad as hell that everyone is okay. Say "hi,Mom!" to her for me, will ya..because I'm an old wolf and my mom has been gone for 30 years and I'll never be able to say that again. Alone up here in the Maine woods, just me and the incredible wildlife..I watch reactions by a young black man less than half my age to my memories of significant music in my life..and it makes me smile..the fox is outside looking at the cabin, that vixen wants her morning chicken wing, I gotta go, thanks again, this one got me,man...

So glad there's someone who's not just a "blind" follower and does what all the rest do. Studio is how the rest of the free world was introduced to this and contains the current vibe at that moment it's conceived. Nothing can compare to that moment in time. This is about her life as a singer, the child within her heart. Superb track made great by Lindsey and think about it, he had to conceive, play and listen to Stevie sing when they were separated. THAT's asking a lot. Nice reaction.

Hi - I follow you because i like your style of reaction. You respectfully wait until the end to make comments. You listen & appreciate the nuances of the music and the artist or group. Too many reviewers keep cutting the music off, jumping in with unrelated comments or certainly ones that could wait till the end. They don't realize that when they do that they are losing the continuity, and often the context, of what they are hearing. Can't tell you how many times I have screamed at the reviewer to shut up & listen! And can't tell you how many times the reviewer has missed an important element or moment in the song and they don't even realize because they just can't stop talking. I have already stopped following at least a dozen or so because of this. Glad to hear the family is doing ok. At least physically. But something like that accident will leave you shaken for a long time. We'll all be thinking of you and sending prayers.

Blessings to your family. This song always makes me teary-eyed, especially since the death of my only son 5 years ago. The line 'Time makes you bolder/ children get older/ I'm getting older too' always gets me. I have indeed aged -- a lot -- in the past few years, but my son won't get any older, forever 31. But it is just a melancholy sort of song for me about life's stages and how fragile and fleeting each stage really is.

Thankful your family is safe. You are right. Music can help a person feel every emotion a human can feel. Sad songs inspire reflection, hope and sometimes tears. It is a priceless escape to release that emotion. Same thing for up beat music bringing a smile , a pleasant memory or move you to get up and dance. Not every song will strike the cord for these feelings, but so.... so many songs can do it over and over again. Thank you for being there sharing you musical journey.....I've be on the journey over 60 years.

Glad to hear everyone is ok. Stevie Nicks does have a beautiful voice that can make you tear up. Anything by Eva Cassidy will have you crying like a baby, but in a good way. Her live version of Over the Rainbow is so emotional and raw you'd be inhuman if you didn't she'd a few tears, but you'll feel so much better afterwards. By the way Mick Fleetwood, the drummer in Fleetwood Mac, was a mentor to her. Please listen to Eva and enjoy.

Also “tango in the night” is another hidden gem! The whole album’s mystical concept is just genius. Even when they where at their worst with their addictions and relationships within the band, what came out was pure art. Plus Lindsay was in his prime. There were few who could match his level when he was at his best vocally and on the guitar as well... up there with the best.

Stevie wrote this song about giving up her musical career. She and Lindsay had hit a wall in the industry. Her parents gave her an ultimatum. " Music or college. You have 3 months to decide". She went to a friend's cabin in Aspen, and watched it snow while thinking about it all. She wrote this song. Then Fleetwood Mac reached out to them and they became musical history.

Wanted to let you know about the ORIGINAL Fleetwood Mac, founded by Peter Green back in the 60's; very bluesy. Although the later FM (with Stevie Nicks et al) was very good, I favor the original band: Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood, Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwan, John McVie (bass) Christine Perfect (later McVie) keyboards and vocals. Check them out. Two of my favorite albums of theirs is Kiln House and Then Play On.

none music comment, I like watching your channel for the real reactions. I have seen many reaction channels, and there are so many I cannot watch because of their behavior. I hate over the top people or pushy types, fake ass "look at me" types. The no pausing is a bonus but would not be a deal-breaker because that is the meta YT forces people to do. The point is I tune in to see someone being true to who they are, not try to be someone they are not. Keep it up.
