hungfao There were two couples breaking up in Fleetwood Mac. So just about every song was about the break ups. It made the band extremely creative. Stevie Nicks is the singer, and most widely known as the front lady. BUT Lindsay Buckingham and Christine McVie also sang lead on some songs. To hear them both share lead, try "Don't Stop". Have a great evening.

Queen Stevie is/was supernatural, gorgeous, witchy-and her fabulous hair! Her clothes were beautiful, hippie boho chic-top hats, piano shawls, handkerchief hems, platforms. Most of us wanted to be Stevie. Her songwriting-I mean, check out her lyrics on Sara and the way she sings them, “...he was singing, and undoing, and undoing the laces, undoing the laces...” So sexy. Or on Gypsy, “She is dancing away from you now, she was just a wish, she was just a wish...” And although Stevie was the beauty (so was Lindsay Buckingham lol), there would be no Fleetwood Mac without Christine McVie. She sings and plays magnificently. Songbird featuring her lyrics and vocals is just exquisite-please listen to it. You can’t go wrong with most of their music. Hypnotized is another lovely, dreamy song you should hear-it’s often overlooked and was before Stevie and Lindsay joined the band.

Loved your reaction!😊 Stevie Nicks wrote this song about the guitarist Lindsey Buckingham after they broke up while making the Rumours album. One of the best selling albums of all time. All the songs are real of what the band was going through during that time as the bass player John McVie and Christine McVie were going through a divorce and drummer Mick Fleetwood was also. Crazy how they kept it together to produce amazing music AND PLAY on stage together for the next 40yrs singing these to eachother. Lindsey created the music around Stevies poems. Lindsey wrote and sings Go your own Way to her Stevie. I am 48 yr old female. Loved this band since i was 8 yrs old. The story of this band is fascinating. Should watch a doc on them. Intriguing to say the least. Fleetwood Mac is my all time fav band. Stevie is a legend😉 So is Lindsey really. Should check out Stevie Nicks video Edge of Seventeen....when she did a solo album on the side while still in Fleetwood Mac. Great song.
