Here I sit, a 63yo retired Mailman who has only really listened to IRON MAIDEN for the past 24 years. I just bought a new pair of headphones (beyerdynamic DTT 770Pro) and before I 'officially' break them in with "SENJETSU", I just grabbed a CD which turned out to be "Rumours". Maybe back in the day we just played this loud with no cans, but now being older a much deeper appreciation for what this album represents. It turns out to be a concious awakening of appreciation for music for me at this age, that once was always taken for granted. At age 40, when I first 'discovered' IRON MAIDEN certainly at that age gives you appreciation for what it is all about. To now have FLEETWOOD MAC come to fuition for me is a distinct revolation! All this may sound overstated, but it is true emotion for me to now (come closee to) appreciate (ing) this album. You certianly gain better perspective as you age, and I am now totally overwhelmed by Christine McVie! Sorry I missed Her all my life!

I remember it like it was yesterday and for all the concerts I have ever seen this was the most memorable. God I loved this woman! Her songs surrounded me throughout the good times as well as the bad. I remember purchasing her first solo album "Christine McVie" at a time in my life when I was going through a very rough patch and couldn't stop listening to it. One song resonated with me which was "Wish You Were Here", no relation to Pink Floyd's masterpiece. "I wish you were here holding me tight. When I had you here near everything was alright. I wish you were here because I feel like a child tonight". Your legacy lives on through your music! Forever in Our Hearts!!!!! Fly Angel fly!!!
