A thing I love about this song is how much of a *spin* it puts on the rock genre, it *nails* everything so perfectly, I might aswell put it on an *infinite* loop.

Apparently, Mick Fleetwood had to take so much cocaine while recording Rumors to forget they hated each other by the stage.

I read the comments about the drummer having the time of his life and started looking for it. It is insanely enjoyable

@ alex_voicu68 Life in a rock'n'roll band (or any type of artistic form) can never be compared to work and rules in any kind of "normal" business. There are no 'coworkers' in rock'n'roll band (by rock band I mean on all musical genres). If the chemistry is right, in the band you're surrounded by literarly, brothers and sisters.. Every band I put together or joined gradually became my second family. And the only way to protect and preserve such a family is to be completely honest and open, and to demand the same attitude from other members of the band. There is no other way. There is another one and exists, but in groups whose each album surely earns hundreds of millions. Then all decisions are made by one or two people from the band (the author(s) of the music and lyrics, plus label people, if the band hasn't fought for or earned absolute artistic freedom). Then any musitian has a feeling like he works in "proper firm" - relationships in the band turn into a dictatorship of the "most deserving", although the other musicians also gave their author's contribution, (i.e, drummer and bass player can make or break album, their artistic input is very valuable and pretty large, as band members - if we are talking about a band and not a project where play session/studio musicians. because they were not given notes so that they could record real music by playing according to the sheet music, the author's work of one man. Stevie and Lindsey's first contact happened at school when she was 16 and he was 15!! They were children, but they had a dream, desire and courage to try to make it come true. They knew what they wanted, although sometimes it's hard enough to know what you don't want. After eight years of relationship came success, and with it some new desires, ideas and perspectives that as a young couple without money they didn't even think about.. Lindsey, an eloquent and intelligent young musician, seemed to me like a possessive person, which could be possible while Stevie worked as a waitress to support them. However, Stevie ended the relationship before they started making millions. What was the real reason for the breakup, only the two of them know. And I'm sure that their story about the causes of her infidelity, which destroyed trust, would be completely different. If Lindsey was possessive, Stevie also seems like someone who enjoyed a life of "sex, drugs and r'n'r."

When I was 20 my very best friend who I grew up with took her own life..she was a beautiful singer who played guitar...we were both singers and sang together...we wete friends forever... This song still resonates with me today as it did then...I still miss her so much... Thank you Stevie Nicks for this wonderful song...words are so beautiful..I am sure she is singing this in heaven...the pain in my heart will never go away but these words will help with the healing..Praise God.. I thank God for her short life and pray I will see her again in heaven where we will again sing together ❤️✨
