Weird how this comment was overlooked because, for those who don't know, Dominic played DE at LSU and was a star at Nicholls Sate after transferring. I used to follow high school recruiting closely because I did the community rosters for EA's NCAA Football. I also did something similar for Madden rosters so I followed NFL draft scouting in detail. I believe you were a top 20 DE from most scouting services when being recruited. I saw your name and was like whoa. haha Thanks for sharing that.

I played freshman football at Hahnville when he was a senior there. His dad was always my umpire when I pitched for my local baseball team too. It was an honor to share the weight room with him and he was an inspiration for us to work harder to achieve our workout goals. Some people get hurt and take desperate measures to get well..especially when you have a team counting on you and you're in the limelight. I wish nothing but the best for him and his family.

@bobbyscarfo25444 жыл бұрын
@Fuh Q clearly you have some issues but you get a pass for being simple minded and unable to comprehend reading so I'll be gentle. First, Sean died 11/27/07.... so that's not 10 years.... it's 13+. Second, I never said anything about Dan being an competent owner, did I? Nope. My statement was clearly about the teams performance since Seans murder, not Dans tenure as Owner. If you actually knew WTF you were talking about you would've researched how Taylor completely turned that team around, especially defensively. Listen to what his teammates said about him, or his coaches, HOF Coach Joe Gibbs for one and the Head Defensive Coordinator Greg Williams. Actually, anyone that knows Football. Think it through next time and stop missing those Nighttime GED Classes, especially the English portion of the curriculum knucklehead. Sure the team has been dysfunctional for years, but Taylors death set the team back tremendously. Do your homework. Now watch, you won't be able to stop yourself from making another idiotic comment. Why? Because you have a genetic malfunction that prevents you from being able to decipher the point of what you're reading. You'll be OK......go have a sandwich and a glass of milk and try to come up with another idiotic comment so I can embarass you even more.

A lot of people don't realize that steroids (in this case androgenic/ anabolic steroids) are fairly detrimental to tendon and ligament health. Though the more anabolic (growth promoting) drugs typically counteract some of the convective tissue strain by converting to estrogen and thereby promoting both water and fat retention, which in turn can almost insulate joints and help protect them, by in large, you just do not take AAS' to "treat" convective tissue damage. Growth hormone on the other hand, promotes (or at least it's purported to promote) cellular replication, or hyperplasia (the splitting of cells, this forming new tissue). It is fairly non-specific in that it can have similar effects on bone, organ and muscular tissue but the reality is that it's a fairly shitty PED, at least when taken on its own. Performance aside, GH has been shown to be beneficial to convective tissue repair and treatment. Of course, much of the evidence out there is anecdotal, however, the majority purports clinically significant benefit for this use. As for PRP, it's still "pseudo-science" in that there is very little evidence out there that can prove efficacy. Some Dr's swear by it while others are fairly sceptical. That said, most likely, if he did start out with PRP and had good results, then moved to GH and had good results, steroids would be the next logical step since GH was already against the rules and steroids can accomplish WAY more in terms of performance then pretty much anything else out there for this type of sport. Not sure who's gonna read all that but if you made it to here, hopefully that was helpful!

I agree that he probably started using HGH or other peptides to heal from injuries, they are very effective for healing tendon injuries. It's also a lot easier to get around these drug tests than they want you to believe, it's a constant cat and mouse game with the testing. I think he also had elite genetics being able to recover from training and play football and was also hyper responsive to drugs, weights, and food. I'm pretty deep into bodybuilding, and he clearly isn't natural. His trap and shoulder development are the telling signs. Those areas have higher amounts of androgen receptors so they just explode when taking stuff. It also it looks like his head grew Barry Bonds style from the HGH. Was probably taking a boat load of testosterone too...not the guy you want lurking back there while running across the middle.

Landry had one really unfortunate habit as a pro. My family and I still refer to a defensive player going for the knockout blow and completely whiffing or bouncing off as, "pulling a Landry". @matth15896 жыл бұрын
As Redskins fan, I thought his first season was good. Maybe a little less that what we had hoped for but decent. As time went on, the biceps started to balloon and the play got worse. He lost speed because of all the bulk and did not gain any functional football strength. I'm sure he was beast in the weight room, but it just did not translate to the field. Also the stats are a bit misleading. He made a lot of tackles but usually after big gains. He was never great at moving up to the LoS to stuff gaps and minimise gains. He also had a tendency to celebrating wildly after making routine tackles that had completely failed to stop drives. Sure, he would turn that tackle into a big hit, but that was all. The opposition would get a first down and he'd strut around like he'd just made a special play. Moreover, for all the big hits, there were the times when he got absolutely trucked. He transformed himself into a big, slow and not particularly strong safety. He basically had his body right in college and lost his way in the NFL and would not listen to the trainers. The injuries played a part, but he was already set on a path to mediocrity.

RIPPLE H McCann was good Best was injuries Manziel is a crack addict Sanchez was bailed out by a good defense and is now a laughing stock Tebow was never given a second chance even though he did good as a starter RG3 I’m pretty sure is injuries Revis is a future HOFer... Kaep was bailed out by a good team and has obviously been shrouded in controversy The rest I would like to see a video on

2008 opening week against the giants on primetime brandon jacobs trucked laron on national tv, and ever sense then i noticed the weight starting to gain....so my theory is the embarrassment of that play caused his steroid use.

I remember that 07 redskin team with Clinton Portis at running back, LaRon Landry at free safety, Sean Taylor at strong safety, Shawn Springs at cornerback.

What you said about the NFL and PED testing is absolutely and verifiably false. I was honestly shocked you were under that impression.
@VinylUnboxings6 жыл бұрын
Clif Keens Exactly. People seem to have a hard time understanding what these corporations want. They want the biggest, strongest, fastest, most freakish athletes because that's what sells. They also want people to think the sport is clean to maintain a positive self image. It's little wonder why they pretend they test seriously but really don't. The NFL or your team doesn't care if you're running a cycle in the off season to bulk up, or taking hgh and pain killers to try to recover from an injury, they just want the players to play and, and the franchises just want to win.
@MUSICBUFF99TUFF6 жыл бұрын
They give players a month in advance notice. Talked to a recent former nfl player about it few months ago. He said everyone uses them and only idiots get caught

He was great because of Sean Taylor. Without him he was average. Great players rise the level of play for players around them( San Taylor, Tom Brady, jimmy G, Julio Jones) these players all have somewhat average players around and makes their stats and performance improve.

I have a friend who has taken Testosterone, and he told me about how amazing it can make you feel. and if you watch some old videos of Arnold back in the day talking about the pump and how good it feels... I can easily imagine someone being addicted to steroids, test, HGH. Good theory.

This video tells me more than anything on google. For about 3 years I been wondering what happened to laron. MUCH props for the in-depth insight. Laron could've been a linebacker, or a professional body builder. Instead- his career became a wreck, nobody wants to sign him(for good reason), and nobody has heard anything about/from this man in ages. What does this video do? It gives a HUGE laron fan some closure- as to how the best body the nfl has ever seen became dust in the wind

You should do an update on this when you get a chance. I know you’re hella busy with NCAACF 25 and getting your remastered channel back in the game as well. Doing updates on old videos can be another project as well. I’m pretty sure the mass majority of us wouldn’t mind.

As someone who had a similar although not as significant a career trajectory (2 sport International athlete). Following my first real knee injury I tried everything under the sun to get back from it. Instead, every time I got 'healthy' I picked up another injury with a lengthy recovery period, in the end I walked away from sports, but if I had access to PEDS I can easily see how you can become addicted to staying at 'peak' fitness levels regardless of consequences.
