I’m a product of the JUCO system. And everything you said is true. I was one of the fortunate ones that made it to D1. But I’ll tell you that everything you said in this video is true. No dorms. No meal plans. No scholarships. We had a fee waiver. But that’s only for California residents. I’ve seen a lot of my teammates sell drugs, steal just to make ends meet. Thanks for this bro. Keep on the good work.

yeah... could've easily been an accident; if two of them state in an email that they've heard some promises made by Brown didn't come true and later on in the email say they know Trevon and still keep in touch with him, it's easy for coach to connect the dots. Other shit can happen too. One thing's for sure tho, that coach does not deserve one bit of Gauno.

California JUCO? Been there and did it. The path is for the school of the hard knocks. You have to be mentally tough and resilient to get through the experience. I went to 3 different California JUCOS played basketball, was benched, cut, and blackballed until I went to school with my friends and got my chance to start. Not only did I put up good numbers, I beat those other schools that didn't see my value. It's the memory highlight of my life. I got a scholy to an NAIA and finished my degree. I'm better for the experience, but also resentful of the college system. Here's some beliefs and ideas I developed from the experience. 1. As long as a player is transferring outside of conference they should be able to transfer without using a redshirt. That's my personal belief. 2. Before going to any school do your own investigation. Go to their practices if you can, look at their roster and understand their style of play. But especially, make sure they have an actual need for you so you can solidify your playing time. 3. Make sure you take all your film. This should be a no brainer now, but 10-12 years ago we relied on the coaches for film. Don't make that mistake, that film is your marketing tool. 4. Use social media accounts with your film and send it to coaches of targeted schools repeatedly. This is probably a no brainer now, but back in the day we didn't do that despite having the technology to do so. 5. If you're going to sit out your first year, take 9 credit hours or less. Why? Because this action makes you eligible for the grey shirt on the NCAA and NAIA levels. Some kids may put their noses up at NAIA, but remember you don't want to paint yourself in a corner. Leave yourself with maximum options. 6. Collegiate sports is hard. What worked in HS won't work in College. You actually have to work at your craft and conditioning. How hard should you work? Let's put it like this, if you aren't in class or doing an assignment you should be working on your craft or conditioning. All training sessions should be exhausting and arduous. 7. In the era of #MeToo ALL male athletes need to go MGTOW. Fuck parties, fuck women, fuck social events. Your life should be the books and Ball. If you have a need to bust, use your refund money to get an escort or Sex doll and call it a day. Always be aware of your interactions with women and how it can get you in trouble. Look up redpill and MGTOW videos on KZbin to get a sense of how you should interact with women. Any questions-Just ask

goes to show how bad of a coach JB really is. All that monster talent (unlimited roster) and can't even go undefeated in JUCO when most of the top teams have 8-14 caps on the d1/out of state players they can have
@fullweezy35535 жыл бұрын
I'm going to have to go back and watch that episode I think you might be right
@JzeroN5 жыл бұрын
Jbum26 the league is loaded. same unlimited rules apply to all kansas juco. Before last chance u they were the laughing stock. garden city, butler, fort scott, and iowa western(who has an agreement to play in the jayhawk conference) have all played for or won a national championship in the past 10 years or so. EMCC wouldnt win so many if they played in the jayhawk conference.
@Jbum265 жыл бұрын
Mississippi and Iowa (the state one Juco team they lost to was from) have a cap of 14 and 8 out of state/d1 bounce backs. Indy was the scrub of the league for over 20 years, this is true. But when you are recruiting 35 D1 talent players and you can't go undefeated, then the lack of success falls on coaching (especially when the other teams in the conference are not getting near the same quality of recruits). Would Urban Meyer be considered a good coach if he could recruit NFL talent but have two losses in the MAC and miss the playoffs? of course not. JB is an excellent recruiter, cares for his players, and is a funny guy but a good coach he is not. For reference, his practice organization and discipline was noticeably lower than practices I had at the varsity level and were nowhere near the level of College practices I've seen when I was being recruited (I'm sure funding issues play into this but I think its fair to say it would at least be on par to that of what a Varsity high school team gets). We are also talking about the same dude who almost loses to a team that is so bad, that he said something along the lines of "their starting corner is a guy we cut" and proceeded to have said cut player play lights out. How can you not even scheme to beat a player you had on your team? You already have a position coach who knows his strengths and weaknesses!

First time watching this channel. New sub and like. I'm loving this content and it's bringing back my love for sports. Life, work, bills, gangs, a lot took my mind off sports but my first and favorite love(besides God) was sports. Thank you bro.
