My dog was locked in her cage when she was a pup, she's 12 now and she has always used it as her safe space. She also seeks out small corners and cramped places to snuggle up where she feels safe. She loves her cage and is house trained so never wees in it.

Great vlog!!! I've missed you guys! It's very nice to see you back and in good spirits. The puppies are particularly cute these days too. Twice as nice and sweet as candy!! Adding to what @AmandaKale said, crates are also good for dogs as they offer them a "den" area where, if correctly established, they can feel more safe than in the house as it is their own little area where they can run and hide if they feel they need to.

We never docked our springers! Our oldest one Molly really badly damaged hers and had to have it amputated when she was 4 :( but our baby Ruby still has her full tail!! Cutie!
