У деда такой же был ,но бензиновый двигатель и коробка механика трехступка. В 2009 дед поставил его под навес. И в 2023 зимой, спустя столько времени мы его завели. С 3-го пенька завелся! Правда колеса заклинили, но он поехал !

this Merc was original a gasoline car. you can see the ignition coil on the left front behind the headlamp and the rev-meter goes up to 7000 RPM. no OM from Mercedes revs so high. but impressive to see, that this old car may be fallen apart, the engine starts like it was parked 2 days ago. great vid, flexiny, als always. thumbs up.

maybe you schould read his comment again Originally it was 1982 Mercedes-Benz E200 2.0 80kW but engine is swapped with 2.0D (OM601) from w124.

Wow, what a faithful old Benz! They just last forever. My mom had a 1987 190e with the 1.9L gas engine, not only was it powerful, but the odometer stopped working at 296,000 miles, and my mom drove it for three years without it working. It needed a water pump and the mechanic told her $1500 to replace it, so she sold it to him. I would've loved for that to have been my first car. It was black with a tan leather interior.

Im a proud owner of a 1986 Mercedes 190 with that 2.0 diesel engine its white with blue seats. It was from my dad it only needs the basics oil changes and disel to run never left me down. The best car i ever own.

W123 can be beaten up and with lots of dents everywhere and also full of rust but it will always start. It can survive many accidents and that's not gonna stop it either. I have a 200 MB W123. Actually it was a gift from my grandpa and I will never sell it best car ever. ❤️

Great car👍. These cars auto transmission can be rebuilt though. It just needs bands, gaskets, clutch packs and vaccum modulator for smooth shifting. It dosent have electronics. Its all mechanical.

Did the engine really start immediately with the sixteen-year-old fuel? That's hard to believe. And wouldn't it make more sense to fill the radiator with an antifreeze mixture instead of clear water? It would be great if there were a few more instructions displayed.
