I've been searching for a 1986 Ford Taurus LX wagon for over 5 years. I want to one day restore one. Had a chance to snag a clean white LX trim 86 wagon in Portland Oregon in 2019 but my dad got in the way and I've had no luck since then. I find the Gen 1 SHOs pop up for sale regularly but I'm not looking for one of those. I'm in several Taurus groups, nobody can help me find what I'm looking for. The wanted ads I put up don't work either. I hope I can find that medium canyon red optioned LX wagon soon.

The 3.0 "vulcan" v6 in this car makes 140 HP. Not super powerful, but very reliable.

I had one of this Motor. On the Kadett, however1.5TD, engine TC4EC1. My89,(Letter K in the chassis number) caravan GL, I did everything with it and to destroy that engine you really have to work hard😅

1987 Ford Taurus L.That was the base model back then,They looked so slick when they were introduced in late 1985.Weak transmissions but Vulcan 3.0 engine was a workhorse.
