This video makes me miss my 2006 kia(Naza) Citra... Its such a perfect car, despite people saying its unreliable and hard to maintain, that car was like a tank. Had so many accidents with that car but it still runs like nothing ever happened to it. I really built an emotional connection with that car, sadly my family had to sold it because we were getting a new car😢.. still miss that tank to this day😢❤

@@bartoszszymanek1437 although this might be one of the best condition cars they've revived. if I remember correctly, the sharan was pretty close but it wasn't in the best condition + it needed a clutch if I'm not mistaken. this kia is basically just dusty and that's it

@@AnItalianGuyOnYT Jest w dobrym stanie to trzeba przyznać ale to głównie dzięki temu że stał w garażu bo wspomniany przeze mnie Volkswagen był chyba wyciągnięty z krzaków i na jego tle nawet Mercedes klasa E (W 210), który znany jest z podatności na korozję, stał 9 lat w garażu nieuruchamiany i wyglądał lepiej przynajmniej moim zdaniem.

I had its sister, the Hyundai Santa Fe which however had a 2.2 CRDi engine with 150 horsepower. I have good memories of that car

I just picked one up that sat for 3 years. 3.8 V6 2WD. Added fresh gas, alll new fluids and a good wash. Runs great. Very smooth.

It's a good SUV built by Korean people's * the fuel injectors got to take care ! ...! i bought 5 units in 2002 for my office used ...yet my personal SUV is still my Opel frontera 1995 petrol built my Englishmen , the brake plunger got to service every year ...still using it until now .! 🎉

부친께서 04년식 2.5LX 10년가까이 소유했었어요. 차 정말 튼튼하고 좋은데 급출발때 아이신미션 1~2단 튕김현상이 있었어요

한국에서는 배출가스때문에 운행이 좀 힘들죠. 차가 두대면 괜찮은데 한대로 운행할려먼 미세먼지 심한날에는 과태료 나오죠.

Like most Kia's, these were solid, reliable tools.... Perhaps a noisy idler pulley on this one... but that's about it !!

Sim , tem com certeza um rolamento gripado ... Consegue-se ouvir bem ao ralantin , está algo gripado . E também tem as pastilhas de travão de trás do lado direito no ferro . Já riscou o disco de travão . 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

사랑하는 아버지 차였던 쏘렌토 50만km를 타도 엔진 미션이 버텨주고 잘나갔던 차였습니다. 다만 하체 부식 및 매연은 고질병이었죠 한국은 배기가스 규제가 있다보니 DPF가 없는 구형 쏘렌도라 결국 폐차했지요

Well done Comrade. Still looks a solid car for 20 years old, and fully loaded too. Engine maybe a little agricultural but cant be too bad with 236,000+ km's on the clock. These are still for sale in the UK for around a €1000. KIA must compare with DACIA for good value. 😎 👍💯🇬🇧

In the US these had the 3.5L V6 and were somewhat unreliable vehicles, you don't really see them anymore for this reason. The V6 was prone to spinning bottom end bearings and they also suffered various little issues, crazy to see something this "new" already rotting in a barn

In Germany most customers chose the Diesel engines. I also heard from a collegue at work that he had a V6 and a lot of issues with it. I have a 2017 2.2 CRDI 16V PLATINUM EDITION. But that is a totally different car and you can't compare it with that in the video. The biggest problem with the first generation of the Sorento is the rust. I'm currently with my caravan on a campingsite in North Germany at the costal aerea. A neighbour has a 2018 Sorento GT-line, but he told me, that he is still owning a Sorento of the first generation. He is a company owner and has to tow sometimes heavy trailers. The towing capacity was about 3.5t and the following generations had only 2.5t (manual gear) or 2.0t (automatic gear) like his one or my one.

조용하진.않습니다. 4기통 디젤이고 crdi 초기형이다 보나 진동이 심합니다. dpf달린 이후에 나온 디젤들 보다 더 진동과 소음이 있습니다.

포터와 봉고에도 쓰던 A2 엔진입니다. 쏠라티에도 들어가죠. 포라리와 봉고르기니 무얼실을라고의 신화를 만든 엔진이니, 신뢰성과 내구성은 국산 디젤엔진 중에 탑급이라고 봅니다. 영상을 올린게 에스토니아 사람인거 같은데, 쏘렌토가 저 먼 북유럽까지 가서 지금껏 살아남은 걸 보니 뭔가 뭉클하네요.

Be careful with the fuel lines. Remember kia/hyundai cases that caused fire due to bad quality fuel system parts.
