Sorry, I bought the product and tested it while fishing. The result is catastrophic, zero mosquito repellency, no effect at all. I'm extremely disappointed, that's waste of money.

What kind of chemical is used? I don't like to inhail a poison fume for a longer period of time, say for 14 days camping. In Thailand I have used briefly these insence type of coil you lit and burns slowly for 8 hours or so. Deet 50% on your skin is also not a good idea. In the tropic (Malaria) you do not have much choice, because i hate these tablets. So if this works it just might be the best choice of the worst options.

@@WildCamper I’d feel happy using it in a closed tent, just use one lozenge and turn the heat down 😋👍. The beauty of it is that you can take it on overseas holidays as a ‘just in case’ . I bought a Geopress filter for travelling India. Did I need to use it? No. Did it bring peace of mind having it there ‘just in case’? You bet!!! 😊😎👍.

Yeah these came with it , but my mates ones were branded flextail ones , weird!

Flextail just wrote me back this morning saying they will be sending me "updated" mats. Hopefully the nicer looking ones you have, though someone else stated that they look the same as the Flextail branded ones, but with a grey interior instead of white/blue. I guess I'll find out.@@WildCamper

it doesnt work properly. I have used mine with terrible results and now the company is sending me new pads. I put the old pads in my thermacell and it worked great. I took the front off the of the flex tail and the heating element only gets 145C thats 20 degrees colder than advertised and this is why it doesnt work properly.

Seems like you didn’t read the instructions. The device is not to be used indoors or in enclosed spaces like tents, trailers or caravans.
