I have a C300, which doesn't have a Turbo, would you recommend getting this Tune for my car.? I also want to get quicker acceleration in Sport Mode and experience that same initial acceleration lag you talked about. In your pedal video you mentioned a tune that featured different driving modes and a UI piece, but I would like to simply retain using the factory Comfort + Sport button. Is that possible?

Iam really wondering about your video dude. i thought ure simply a customer figuring out what that tool can etc etc.....first sceptical thing was that u did not show the before and after effect...youre saying that you "feel" an improvement ...but without a real proof...then i went to the website and ive seen....that ur video is the promo video of the website....it seems that ure kind a involved in that company ^^ thats why i wont buy it :D i only trust the good old map optimazation in a good tuning shop :)

Hey bro, I am driving the same car assuming you have changed yours. What irritates me about the transmission is when I step on the brake at 3000 rpm or more, it downshifts but the rev is hanging there high. I need to press the paddle to upshift it then if not, it takes a few seconds for the rev to come down. I guess its the lousy original tune of our TCU. Am I correct? Does the T Box helps to resolve this issue?

@@babytazz6100 if you meant, ownself resetting it, yes. But if you meant, TCU reflash, no. Btw, i am not gonna keep this car for long. Will get FK8, manual trans still the best. Cheers.

No. Tunes can’t just get revert. You usually have to manual configure it back.

if it's the CGi 1.8 and not the 1.6, it should work fine as it is the exact same engine as c250 CGi

Being desperate to make the trans work better, and not finding anything else, I bought one. Fyi; 2016 E550 w/722.9 (7-speed). One big complaint about oem is if I floor it for whatever reason it will not upshift after I let off the gas until 5+ seconds later. So I pass someone which takes 2 seconds, then let off and I'm sitting there at 4 or 5k while I wait for the computer to figure out that yes I am in fact done. I can push the ESM button (Economy/Sport/Manual) to get it to upshift but you should not have to do that or manually upshift. I read somewhere it only holds the gear like that in S mode but that is false. Imo a trans should instantly upshift the moment you let off unless in M mode. M mode gripe; it only stays in M for 5 or so seconds, then switches to S all by itself. Wth? I was hoping the T-Box might fix these issues... After the T-Box the first thing I noticed is it holds gears longer before shifting, but often it's too long. For example; I drive 2 miles @ ~46-50mph on this one long street twice a day and it will not shift past 4th now. Oem it would go to 5th, often 6th. So basically my rpm is needlessly double as I putt putt down that road. Here's my real gripe and why I consider the T-Box a fail: The first time I passed someone with T-Box was on the freeway, which took 2-3 seconds and I let off. It stayed in 4th at 4k so I waited to see if it would take less time to upshift now, but after about a mile I realized it was never going to upshift! I pushed the ESM button to break free of that and in the same moment decided the T-Box has to go. So oem shifts too soon, T-Box too long, not sure which one I dislike more. Holding the gear and not letting go at all is not acceptable. So basically $229 down the drain... My understanding is it's only setting the trans to the most aggressive oem setting so really it's the the computers fault, or I should MB engineers, but the end result was fail for my car. If the T-Box had the option to choose other settings that would be great. My ultimate dream is being able to set all shift parameters individually to whatever I want, and of course set it to upshift the moment I let off, so if anyone knows a way to do that please share! Side note; I think they stopped making this thing? This vid Flexx made is the only info I could find on it. In fact mine did not even come with instructions, or any paperwork at all for that matter, this vid was literally the only info I had!

That's normal and actually programmed in on purpose. When you floor a Mercedes it assumes you may be passing more than once in rapid succession so the tcu keeps it in the lower gear for a few seconds that way you have access to instant power. In Germany where large trucks are often restricted to below the speed limit on roads you may be weaving in and out while passing quite a bit. That's what it's for. I thought it was weird as well when I first got my Mercedes but it's actually come in handy a few times having to cross multiple lanes on Florida freeways.

It's supposed to do it my c43 did that right out of the dealer clear plastic sheathing. I don't really like it either but the care is engineering to handle it. Is recommended paddle shifting or stick shifting it manual mode
