I can comment on Railway Man coming out on the 9th. I saw this movie earlier this year and bought the dvd. It is excellent to help people understand something called Complex PTSD. It is not PTSD where there is a single incident that haunts a person. Complex involves people being in a long term situation where they are subjected to inescapable trauma. Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman did a wonderful job in this move. It is based on the true story of a man named Eric Lomax. Lomax loved trains and grew up studying them. Then, as a British soldier he ended up in a Japanese POW camp where he was subjected to torture and torment by his captors. He deals with spontaneous reliving of his traumas and the monster camp director who caused him so much damage. It is tastefully done, not overly dramatic or gratuitous. And it has a very good ending that people will appreciate.

R.I.P.D. 2 does not have "no one famous in it." It stars Jeffrey Donovan from Burn Notice, Honest Thief, Changeling, Sicario, LBJ, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, etc., and who is now on the new Law & Order. He's a great actor.

I was just about to write the same thing. I loved Burn notice! He was also in Wrath of Man directed by Guy Ritchie which was also good. And just now remember he stared in season 2 of Fargo. Definitely not a "no one famous" kinda guy imo 😁😁

Best Momoa project since Aquaman?! You obviously haven't been watching SEE on Apple+. For my money, the best new recurring series on any streaming service as of late. There have been better single-season ones like Mare of Easttown, The Outsider, etc ... But they've cranked out three seasons of See in like 18 months, and I haven't watched the third season yet but first two seasons were absolutely phenomenal.

A few seconds ago, I just saw Oblivion drop by Netflix even though apparently, it came on Nov 1st. It's been one of my favorites for years now & no one ever talks about it..........especially the BEAUTIFUL OSTs/soundtracks that I listen to over & over in my KZbin playlists even now..........man such a surprise to see it on the top 10 today..................cuz a few hours ago Manifest S4 Part 1 wasn't even up there when it should've been the second it dropped by & just a few hours to make such a difference + Oblivion there............unless my Netflix was acting up again & it just wasn't showing on my Netflix homepage...........whatever the case, seeing these two made my day

Thank you for this, I definitely wanted to know what's coming this month on Netflix. I personally have 0 interest in any of the old and outdated movies except for the new Slumberland movie which looks great. As far as new shows are concerned, I am only excited for Blockbuster, the Crown season 5, the Wonder, and 1899. I had no idea that 1899 was from the creators of Dark, which was the most brilliant show I have ever witnessed. My ex-wife and I were glued to the set watching every twist and turn and revelation as they hit us. I recommend Dark to everyone I meet who is interested in brilliant Sci-fi and suspenseful mysteries. It was difficult to follow at times near the last half of the series and I needed to rewind and watch scenes again in order for all the mind blowing aha moments to fully sink in. I am so very excited to see 1899 now and expect great things from this show. Thanks for all the detailed info.

Railway Man is incredible. It is hard to watch in certain parts (the POW camp scenes) but I highly recommend everyone watch it. It made an impression on me that I will never forget.
