He should seriously play an italian gangster in a quality production with a great cast, he has the perfect maturity, voice, hair and build for such a role right now, and that's not meant in any negative way, it's just something that he should exploit. I honestly think he could pull off such a role these days and people would love it :)

Ed is a real human being. We are MORE THAN our addictions. I've got 21 years out of my 40 addicted to heroin and fentynl, and it does not define me although everyone thinks it should- Ed gets treated the same alot. He's so much more than his childhood or his addiction. He's a hilarious guy obviosly...he really made me laugh in this interview, much love.
@lewis75152 жыл бұрын
Does your education and parenting define you? It kind of does. If you commited mass murder in your past, does that define you? It kind of does. By the same token, if you'd saved a child from a burning building, you'd be more than willing to let that define you. If you'd cured cancer, you'd be more than willing to let that define you. We are what we are - defined by the total of our past. That your history is not where you are, today, not to say quite the same thing. What you seem to ask is that people completely ignore the parts of your history that you regret: well, they're not obliged to do that. They won't necessarily think only what you regret should define you, it just does contribute to your definition, by default - and that's not a matter of their choice. Your history is your history - and much of it will be created by your choices, that you have the ultimate responsibility for: not, the people that you then lay your history in front of. I mean, that's Life? That's why certain choices are so extremely crucial - because, after the fact, all you can really ask and expect people to do is accept how you then position the context of your choices and what, if anything, could be considered redemptive - and then, probably, have to demonstrate how, today, you're somewhere else....but, again, that's your burden and responsibility, following from your decisions: not, theirs. _All_ of that burden, is part of what are the consequences of the decisions that each person makes... You can't really expect people to just forget your history never happened because you regret your choices? If only life was that simple and easy. Beyond that, Furlong doesn't seem hilarious to me: he seems like someone full of sadness and regret, energetically masking his jaded and cynicism at the expense of the industry he knows he's never again going to a make a significant contribution to, beyond his one day's technical scanning for T:DF. He hasn't shown his son his movies - that seems significantly odd: unless that - or having to then explain why his career then went nowhere - is too painful. His comments about sexual exploitation and abuse are not, "hilarious", at all - they're like everything else about this: just a little sad.
@sevenmilewhite14072 жыл бұрын

I remember pretending to be T1000 and chasing my friends on their bikes with a stone straight face lol GOOD FUCKING TINES. T2 WAS THE ALL TIME COOLEST CHILDHOOD MOVIE!!!. Simply because the story followed a 13 year old John Connor. The unique cool kid we all had in our circle who was a trouble maker. Movie was good for many other reasons as well

Thank you for interviewing Edward Furlong :). That's cool that he appreciates video games. Makes sense given that arcade scene from T2 hahaha!

John Connor is such an iconic character. Played brilliantly by Ed.

Man!... Time has not been kind to Edward Furlong... Though it's good to see him in good health and spirits. Growing up I always idolized Eddie as a child actor, especially in T2. Hope to see him in future blockbuster features.

To this day, T2 is my favorite movie. I watch it at least twice a week. Even if my wife complains all the time.

I'd love to see those 2 do a show together. Always so funny to watch these interviews. The one where the pig is mentioned had me in tears 😆

Seemed like when Robert Patrick was leaving he thought Eddie said I love you and was responding to him when he said it back. I could be wrong, you can't see him but it sounded very caring, more so than if he was just saying it to a fan.

4:33 Robert Patrick just throwing back "I love you" to a fan. What a great group of people who happened to work together on a small film called Terminator 2.

Glad to see he's still around. T2 is still amazing to this day. I bought the 3d version and a region free 3d blueray player for it . Paid over $200 just for that movie to play in the USA.

I’d pay 200 to watch t2 with Eddie furlong and that movie brain scan

@@johndough5192 hey send that idea to Eddie man about watching movies with him for cash bc he definitely interesting in making money obviously and that’s a cool concept he could rent a theater and charge for tickets for an event or events to where fans can come watch movies that he was in and at the end he could do a Q&A I mean who wouldn’t want to watch T2 or AMX or DRC with Eddie ?? He could easily charge 50 to 100 bucks a ticket shit maybe 100 or more bc he will Be guaranteeing a meet and greet Q&A and even possibly autographs
@robd13292 жыл бұрын
...for $200 bucks..Furlong would have acted out the movie with you!

@@DrRawBalls_TheDummy no joke that is a great idea and he seems like he could do with the money. Pls get that idea to him, that would be cool. He could even do somt where he tells stories like a love commentary as the movie plays, things you never knew before etc. I'd pay for that if I was nearby for sure, $200 easy.
