What's really weird is that in 2019, he was looking buff as hell and in really decent shape. Apparently, he was of the belief he'd be getting a larger role in Terminator: Dark Fate, and I think him getting reduced to face capture probably upset him a bit, because he disappeared for a bit again, and now he's back to looking like he did before the Dark Fate announcement.

I was an early 80s baby and I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've watched T2 over my life time. To me T2 is the only Terminator movie period. Nothing before it or after it comes close. It would make me so happy for Edward to continue getting his life back on track and star in a "reboot" of the terminator franchise that begins after T2 and ignores all the other movies that came after. Despite their efforts, skynet wins and the war plays out. Furlong builds an army and battles the bots to save the world. Everyone knows that's the new terminator movie we want to see!

Just came across this vid in my feed and watched it instantly. Eddie was a huge inspiration for me as a kid, because despite the fact that John Connor was a fictional character, he gave me confidence to do things like speak up for myself and be brave in times of crisis. One of the best roles I’ve ever seen someone play. Absolutely love Detroit Rock City, but T2 will forever be my favourite of all time. Thanks man

I’m 44 years old and I remember watching T2 at the movies when it first came out, sitting on the floor stairs along with a bunch of other people. That’s how packed the movie was. Kinda hoping that whoever got his stuff in that storage auction sees this and gets at least his pictures back to him. I mean, come on :) Among all of his work, he is still "The" John Connor in my opinion. Others played the character at different stages of his life but he created him for many of us. Its great seeing Ed is doing much better. Any terminator fan knows that the moment john connor died is the moment the movie died. I really hope that some day Ed takes up the mantle of John Connor again and gives us a proper Terminator 3.
@thewolfofwallstreet627
@thewolfofwallstreet627 2 жыл бұрын
Terminator dark fate is stupid. Tim says he killed him because he wanted to get rid of the notion of messiahs existing yet he replaces him with another messiah who happens to be a woman? That makes no sense. Plus by the films dumbass logic, if the savior of humanity dies then another person will just end up taking their place anyways hence why dark fate implies John Connor is expendable. Well if that's the case then isn't the new female messiah, dani, expendable too? I mean if the movie taught us anything if she dies, then another messiah will just take her place so why even care anymore? Just stupid.
@mkendall8393

It is because Tim is woke and navigating a woke Hollywood that thinks stories such as this are more important than attracting audiences or box office returns. The studios that are figuring out no one wants this crap are quickly dropping this. The other will go under.

They could portray John Connor in the same way Ed's personal life has gone, addictions/problem due to fame. John could be living a bit rough due to the constant fear of looking over his shoulder, they could explore what that does to him, then he could pull himself out of it, a redemptive arc.
