Hello Will. Thank you for sharing this vlog. I am glad you and your housemate are doing well after Hurricane Milton. I am originally from Puerto Rico, and I know the stress every time a big hurricane (or any hurricane) is coming by where you live. You never know with nature, things can hanged in a minute. Thank you for sharing your trip. I am glad you and your roommate's apartment was not damaged and you were not hurt. And I send blessings to those people that faced the hurricane last week. Here on Columbus Day Monday it has become a little cooler in the temperatures here in Chicago and my flight attendants fiends here start to make it a point to fly to warmer climates like Florida.😊

You are welcome. Yes, I hope your week will be well. Speaking of FA friends, my second best friend how lives here in Chicago is down for the week and a half. She, Stacey, a senior FA of 33 years and counting has had some pain in one her arms and hand. I continue to hope she will be fine. Stacey also continue to keep me up to date with how other crew felt from the news of the merger with the old Continental Airlines. So, it continues to be nice to see people working in our industry. So, I still like, to see other FAs are in our industry. So, keep flying and keep enjoying traveling! ☺

Being a MCO Native, I have ridden out many hurricanes in my little hallway. In my 68 years on this planet, this was the scariest one ever. Glad you’re OK.

Will the only things that matter are your health and well-being. Yes, being on a trip when your friends are back home dealing with Milton and it's aftermath is hard to handle. I hope everyone of them are safe and happy that your safe too.

I had friends that were just north of Orlando and they did loose power for a few hours with no damage. And another friend that lives north of Tampa and they did have quite a bit of damage to their home and it also flooded. I'm glad that you are safe and well after the hurricane. Thoughts and prayers for all that went through Helene and Milton.

Will, I am so glad that you’re safe and made it through Milton and Helene without too much damage. I am so glad that you had friends you could get through the hurricane with and stay safe. Sending prayers to all of those who are being impacted and need restoration. I would also love to hear more about how you decided to stay in the states after the hurricane. What was the final decision? Any regrets? How is your health journey progressing? You are shrinking with every vlog and your clothes are getting baggier and baggier. I see you.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I didn't really have a choice but to start over. Both my jobs closed because the warehouses were wiped out. My university closed for the semester so I was forced to find a job and figure it out from there. I ended up working and living in Cleveland with family for a while and then from there Chicago and now Orlando. It's been quite the journey. With my weight loss journey, these past few weeks I have not been consistent with the gym and food but keeping track of my calories has really helped. I get two weeks of paid vacation. I usually take one in the spring and another one in fall. And then I use my days off on the other months that I want to travel.

I missed you on my commute the other day, but don’t worry the SJU crew took good care of me. Happy to see everything is ok with regard to the hurricane. When I was texting my MCO contacts checking in, you came to mind. Sorry you missed out on that per deim though. 😩 Haha you right, I always refer to cities by airport codes. Thank you! Honestly the way meteorologists were talking about this hurricane was not good, it was expected to wipe out central FL and that's all I kept thinking about the first few days. Thankfully that was not the case.
