I was on an AA flight from CDG to DFW on the 30th. I overheard one of the passengers asking about you, talking about your YT channel and how much he enjoyed your content. The flight attendant said she knew you and how nice you were in real life and she loved working with you. I wanted to join in, but was afraid of gushing!

Tulsa is my home town. My dad worked for AA at their maintenance base there. AA has traditionally been one of the largest private employers in the state of Oklahoma.

I like Tulsa. I drive there every so often. Saw Celine Dion in concert there in 2019 right before the pandemic. If you are familiar with Hanson that is where they live and are from. You can even go by their music studio downtown.

The doughnut place reminded me, if you ever have the opportunity to work a flight to Portland, Oregon, where I live, you have to go to voodoo doughnuts found in Portland. I have those inflight shoes. AMAZING! I did go up a half size (on my second pair) since they were tight on my toes, it made a world of difference and I wasn’t losing shoes during service. However, they did get stuffed on the toes from locking/releasing the carts.

LOL about the wrong birthday! Reminds me when my husband marked my birthday on his calender for the 11th when it was on the 10th. I walked in the door and he was standing there with flowers and yelled "Happy Birthday!". I started laughing and said, "Too bad you didn't give me flowers yesterday because yesterday was my birthday". After 25 plus years together, you'd think he would know. So, his punishment was that EVERYDAY was my birthday until my next. We went out to dinner where I wanted to go, saw the movie I picked, didn't have do chores around the house. . .it was awesome! LOL! Even at work my employees would ask "why" about something and I would reply, "Because it's my birthday". I had a couple of military guys on my team and THEY made sure my husband KNEW when my birthday was coming. It was a great year! Ha ha. . .brought back a fun memory. Thank you again for sharing your flights and sites. Happy flying! 🌼

Hi Kat! I hope you really enjoyed your time in my current hometown of Tulsa Oklahoma. I have been listening to your channel for a while now but, this is my first comment on any of your videos. I have really enjoyed watching your travels and the information from a flight attendants perspective. I had thought about becoming a flight attendant but, I’m not sure if I would qualify due to me being visually impaired. I love that you went and tried hurts. I have been there and their donuts are delicious but I will probably never get through the entire list and will never know what they look like. Also, you beat me to going to the gathering Place.
