Avocado toast for the win. Bravo on fostering Ms Quinn. Our kitty who throughly enjoyed 26 more Rx fun months of a life of us loving on her and spoiling her, just passed. We were diligent pet parents with her meds: no bother, whatsoever. So please people, don’t shy away from an animal who requires meds. She was ~~12-16 🤷🏼‍♀️, a rescue and dx with IBS/lymphoma 26 months ago. Kitty prednisone got us precious additional time. 🌈💜

The last frame you showed is similar to the one I have. I had to get bifocals and decided to get new frames and the style is very different for me. but I love them. I think fostering animals is awesome but I haven't done it yet

Precancerous Actinic Keratosis also pop up more frequently with cumulative sun exposure. They can be frozen off with minimal long term skin damage, and just some sort term redness. Any rough patches on your skin, especially on the face, should be looked at by a dermatologist. Spending a long time in a vehicle as a driver or passenger also is a risk. The side of your face towards the window gets more exposure. I've had something frozen off almost every year since my late 50s. Glad to see you using care of it. In addition to sunscreen, hats are valuable in prevention.

I had a scare in June, I had all the breast screening etc as I had symptoms, turns out I have a benign breast condition which can occur with age,and I also have a lot of moles, two of which were very large and benign so I had them removed. Since both these things have happened I’ve become a huge advocate for checking. Lots of love to you Kat xx

Loved your video Kat! Gwen is so CUTE and sad that she doesn't get to stay with you long term because she looks and sounds like she would fit in with your little family 🐕. I hope you and Chip would be open to fostering again and that you got your "paws" wet with the fostering experience. I know that life and lifestyle isn't for everyone, but I think you guys could do it. I fostered for the first time ever back in 2013-2015 but with cats (of course), fell in love with it and eventually became a "foster failure" and ended up adopting one of the cats to go along with my other two cats. Honestly I felt like something like that was going to happen, but she was a special needs cat too, took her about a good 6 months to fully come around and trust people and was initially rescued from outside in -30° weather with her siblings. I fell in love with her (Tori who is a Tortie) and best choice I ever made to keep her. 😸🥰

Miss Gwen is gorgeous. I adore bulldogs, but know they have many health issues. Good on you both for fostering her, maybe that's a good option for someone like me who loves them but prefers not to take on the long term care needs. (I prefer the big dogs, but I'm owned by cats currently.)

Just don’t mobile order at the Starbucks in concourse C at ATL unless you have a layover of at least two hours. Took them an hour to make my drink. Thank you for wearing pink during October. My mother is a breast cancer survivor and we are big on wearing pink in October for rest cancer awareness. Me and my sister were so young when she had it that we didn’t know how deadly it can be and now we realize it. We were old enough that remember her having it and her surgeries and treatment but at that time didn’t know how deadly it can be. We are definitely blessed to still have her with us today, and fully recovered. I will be wearing pink with you everyday in October and ask that everyone does, even if it’s just a pink ribbon pin!

Excellent PSA, Kat! My primary care sent me off to a Dermatologist a couple of months ago and I had a boo-boo removed from my forehead. It's all okay but I have to be careful like you... I'm blond, fair skinned and spent a lot of time in the sun.... Plus I am a pilot. Oh, and Gwen is a real K-9 cutie and a heartbreaker to give up. Hope she has an awesome doggie life with her new home! 🥰

Gwen is so cute! Is she part boxer? Really looks like it. What a sweetheart! Thanks for telling people to get their skin checked. It’s so important. I go 2x a year right now Bc of my previous biopsy results. The great thing about you going early in your life & often too is that even if you have something, it’s gonna be caught so early that it’ll be no big deal. I had a pre-melanoma thing (size of a pin head behind my knee, I had no idea), but it was all taken out from just the biopsy Bc it was so small. I’m thankful for my derm’s good eye!

Thanks for talking about skin cancer checkups. I had Mohs surgery this week for skin cancer and have another scheduled in two weeks. I left it too long and just ignored it thinking it was psoriasis. Huge mistake as the cut is about 5 to 6 inches long to ensure that they got it all out. Don't make the same mistake I made.

I just quit my aviation job and idk what I want to do anymore. Watching these videos is nice to keep me feeling somewhat connected to all the things I enjoyed about it but I just don’t know anymore. In Canada the benefits aren’t as good/you pay the taxes and fees up front with my former airline anyway so it just felt like booking low cost flights when doing standby. Sure it was cheaper but it never felt free. The main reason I took the job was for the standby perks but the places I go I can buy low cost carrier tickets for 20$ more than my employee standby cost Seems effortless in the US when you don’t pay at all they just account for the taxes at the end of the year.
