Years ago, while working at a Papa John's, one of our managers finally had enough and snapped on an extremely rich customer who was going to keep lying until she got free food. Now, for context, this manager had fought in Iraq and had serious ptsd and anger issues. I'm not scared of anyone, and he concerned me at times. He's easily the kind of person I could see coming in and shooting all of us one day. So, when I saw what the woman was doing, I could see on his face that he was about to snap. To be honest, when he finally went off on her, part of me was like, "Yes, thank God someone FINALLY did what we all want to do." But another part of me was sad, knowing about his background and that he was choosing to lose his job. But, it was very satisfying watching her get what she deserved. Also, I've found that those who treat service folks so poorly, most times have never worked in that industry, and therein lies the issue.
