Flight from Michigan to Georgia in a small plane

Runway 28 KSAV. Know it well. Did you make that trip without a fuel stop? I fly out of KARW which is about 30 miles north of KSAV and taking delivery of an SR22 in a couple months. Will be making frequent trips to northeast OH and was wondering about true fuel burn.

Yes, had about 30 gallons left if memory serves. Did have a nice tailwind on the way down as well. You should be good on most days.. may have to plan a stop on an IFR day with a headwind to meet those reserve requirements. If you don't already fly the 22, you are going to love it! And if you do, then you already know ;)

@@flying_scott Thanks for the info. Have about 20 hours in the 22 but about 200 in the 20. Just have not done a long XC in the 22 yet. For sure looking forward to the extra power and fuel capacity of the 22. Thanks!!

@@thomasjenkins6950 It was my longest XC to date. 4 hours wheels up to down with some vectoring around KDTW. Didn't even feel that long, great experience.
