I’m flight attendant jojo and since I’m returning to flying soon my company has asked me to pick a new airport base! I go through my thought process for how I picked each base and what order I selected them. Hope you enjoy the plane spotting at the beginning.

Even after working ramp I still enjoy watching aircraft do their thing. It's actually relaxing. There is a plane viewing area at MSP that I try to take sometime to stop at when near by there. Tough choice to pick which plane but would say 737 as a first round pick. Congratulations on the 4 year anniversary at the airline

As a very frequent high mileage traveler for years, I've lived in most of the cities you picked......I hope you are on your knees praying to God that they let you stay in LA!...Too bad Denver was not on the list though. Smack dead center of the Country and very easy to get to any place in the US with ease. And an airport that hardly ever has delays.....Give me LAX and HB any day! Gawd I miss HB!

I look forward to coming along with you. I have downloaded flight aware and on my days off I will treat myself to a Starbucks then go park at an area right across from the main runway at YVR. I get out my binoculars and see what is coming and going. I watched Air France take off on Sunday going non-stop from YVR to PPT. Yes! Tahiti! Beaches and sunshine...please. I am trying to memorize airport codes too. The Canadian ones are hard as they all start with “Y” and most of the letters don’t make sense. YCD is Nanaimo. Really miss the 777-300 landing at Lax since relocating to the East Coast. That In and Out on Sepulveda was one of our favorite places. Seems unreal now to think of waiting in line for a double double at 1am.

Interesting choices Jordan but largely agree as i also know most of them from my layovers. ORD/NYC in winter, omg no thanks.brrr 😂 Never thought PHL as safe at all but BOS i fully agree with, an awseone place although damn cold in winter. MIA has a strange vibe to it but did not mind too much especially as you say, the beaches. Finally DC we stayed at Tysons corner, good choice though for a pair of avgeeks with the two branches of the Ntnl air & space museum there👍❤ Please let us know when you do,Take care.

I love tp plane spot at SFO. There is an In N’ Out, but I go the Marina. I have tons of pictures. I have a picture of the A321T. Hope you stay at LAX. I hope you come to SFO and you are right about the lack of choices and the expense. I mainly take the Transcon on your airline because of the lack of nonstop choices. NYC would be my third pick for you.

Yay!! Hoping like crazy you get lax!!! I hate to say it but, the airports in nyc are absolute shit shows. Jfk airport has literally been under construction for the past 2 years not to mention the traffic and the expenses. Dallas would be so fun!! You have all of the other flight attendants are amazing people but again I hope that you get la so you don’t need to move!!

I personally would look for something close to home or at least in the same time zone and I would choose to fly out of one of the domestic hub airports like DCA. I really wouldn’t have the patience to fly long-haul. Unfortunately, our AA base is closing this month, but we still have a Delta base and JetBlue plans to add a base sometime later on.

One fa I knew couldn't commute to work, her airport was closed due to snow storm, she was written up and told" you chose to commute". No, it's not great idea to commute! I flew for same airline,phx based. Phx is telling fa's 18 yrs to find another base.Lax very senior.

Hi great vlog! Just one question - let's say you get Miami as a base. Would you be able to still continue to live in Los Angeles, but commute to Miami for each assignment you get?
