So, let me get this straight. Han-Tyumi was born (if you can call it that) without a will to live, so he soul-searched for an age until he learned that he couldn't get sick or die (as a cyborg) so he decided to do both, then he could be at peace. So he built a machine (Munt) to do it for him. And his machine hated it. So Han-Tyumi got pissed and merged with Munt, and vomited so goddamn hard hat he murdered the entire goddamn unierse. What a power move.

no kidding, most definitely my favourite of the three stories in murder of the universe. a cyborg who, using his ingenuity and desire to vomit and die, becomes a cancerous growth upon the universe and fills its entirety with his own puke, eventually growing so dense it collapses into a singularity it's disgustingly intriguing and interesting, and i'm sure those who have listened to this can eventually sympathise with the robot's wishes to vomit and die.

The first time I heard this arc of Murder of the Universe, I was stoned off my ass at 2:00am. I did not expect the shift from the LotR-esque tale of the Lord of Lightning, to the sickening and enrapturing story of Han-Tyumi. I felt dumbfounded in disbelief at the bleak, gnarly lyrics pouring through my headphones, and I had the most vivid visualizations along the way. Needless to say, it was a religious experience.

It was presently within memory, but the people of this altered future have found no need or value in it, and have forgotten it by intentional force. I thought so too, until I realized humans can get sick and die, something Han-Tyumi wishes he could do. Unless they are implying that those in charge of humanity are so well off financially that they live separate from the rest of the population, almost "immune" to getting sick and dying (until old age). Because of this, they continue to launch for-profit wars (death) and not fund diseases that do not directly affect them (sickness), until one day, war occurs world wide and diseases spread like wildfire because of the result of WW III making these same rich people now prone to death and sickness like Han-Tyumi always wanted.
