Trip Report: Delta Premium Select on the 767-300 - the sweet spot for best value?

In this video we take you from Stockholm to New York-JFK onboard Delta's venerable 767-300ER. The good news: they've done a great job refitting these aircraft and the Premium Select cabin (that's premium economy in a 2-3-2 layout) may just be the sweet spot on this plane. It is a little on the narrow side though, and the 767 is loud (check out the decibel meter in the video). However this was a very nice flight, especially if you like the 767 (and how can you not, really?).

Great vlog as always! I have not flown DL since dec of 1993. Flying FBU (old OSL) JFK on a PA A-310. JFK-ATL on a 767. Then ATL-MYR on a EMB-120. They had just taken over PA European routes. Service was not the best. Looking forward to the tour of Asia. Be safe!

I believe DL 767 Premium Select is in a 2-2-2 configuration, not 2-3-2 as the description above suggests. 767 Economy seating is 2-3-2.

It is actually possible to get a moving map on your entertainment screen, if you pause the movie you're watching there should be a button on the top of the screen that brings you there.

It seemed like a decent seat depending on cost but ,I am sorry, not for eight hours. The question is how did you get along with "Mr elbows" ? Looking forward to the "Delta one fight. Thanks though!

Maybe they took your advice because the premium select seats I booked for HNL>HND showed the menu on the app, actually they even sent a notification to pick meals about 5 days before departure. Including the drink menu!

I thought this interior was only on the 767-400, didn't realize the 300ER got it too. How tall are you - wondering if this gives you the same room in the bulkhead as the 767-400.

Delta 767 300 has wider Premium Select seats than the A350 and the 330 one. The 767 300 Premium Select seats are considered thr best, but only the aisle seats. It is also well known that Premium Select on this flight is worth over the outdated 2 decade old Delta One seats. The Delta One seats and features on this plane is embarrassing

This is why I love virgin Atlantic premium economy on international routes....metal forks and spoons.... Two full meals minimum....airlines of America are so cheap lol

I love that Delta, like Air France, are using wooden cutlery. I am willing to sacrifice having to work a little harder to cut in order to help reduce the amount of plastic in our garbage.

No aviation geek here but although it’s not possible for legacy carriers to turn as fast as low cost guys the time and money they will be willing to commit to cabin cleaning is going to be limited . These cabins are NOT going to be clean EVER and pointing out these failings is a waste of time . Bring your own wipes .

There are many economy reports around KZbin, I recommend you watch those! I try to avoid longhaul economy a) because I don’t like it and b) because it can be really hard to make a video when in such close quarters with other people.
