Luv the video. I'm the same way with my with my birthday. I'm 12/02 so if I see it on a clock at work I do a "it's my b-day!" dance at my desk, yeah my co-workers think I'm crazy :) By the way your lettering is gorgeous too.

I'm so happy to have found you here on KZbin, since we've been appreciating each other's posts on IG for some time. :-) I enjoyed seeing how you changed things up as you went along. I have some things that have never change and other things I'm constantly tweaking. I'd never thought of putting a brief journal summary of each day with the weekly spread before, and I might have to try that out. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Wendy!! Hehe very true! Thanks for stopping by ;) I know exactly what you mean! It's fun experimenting - I can't wait to see if you post any journal-y stuff on IG (I'm not doing the weekly level journaling at the moment...but I'm finding one line a day may not be enough, so I'm considering going back to it!)
@wendywander7
@wendywander7 7 жыл бұрын
I've been doing the one line a day for several months. It's nice to have the summary right there by my monthly calendar (which is the reverse of yours! short lines with no corners), but I really have to summarize and abbreviate to fit a summary on one line. Having it by my weekly, with more space, would provide more freedom; I could still write only one line if I wished, but there would be room for more. I'll try to remember to post when I try it. :-)
@SunshineStationery
@SunshineStationery 7 жыл бұрын
I must say, it is nice having it by my monthly (too funny that we do the opposite line configuration!) but I'm finding the same issue with having to really abbreviate if it was an eventful day... we'll see how long I do this version! Please do post if you go to a weekly level! I'm curious to see how you approach it :)

Your lettering makes me so jealous! Your pages look so good when you do lettering on them, even if it's just a word or two. I really hope mine is even half as good once I learn how.

I'm wondering what markers you use. I've never seen such chiseled brush lettering (example: "washi/winter/wonderland") with Tombows. Reminds me of the Crayola and/or permanent chisled-tip markers I used to use on card stock. Exquisite lettering. Subscribed.

That particular bit of lettering was actually done with a Tombow! I usually use Tombows (bigger) or Pentel Touch Sign Pens (smaller) in my bullet journal when I letter. Thank you so much!! :)

Could you tell me how you colour the edges of your notebook to mark the months? Do you do it at the end of the month? What pens do you use?
@SunshineStationery
@SunshineStationery 7 жыл бұрын
I use whichever Tombow I chose as my monthly color and I use the brush side to go over the edges - I fan the pages a little to get better coverage. It kinda depends when I do it...for example, I still haven't done it for April because I don't know how many pages I'll use. When I used to do more pre-planning, I would color the edges sooner because I knew how many pages my month would have. I hope that was clear/helpful! :)

Hello Caitlin, I was wondering what pens you used in your December. I was also wondering what washi tape and Tombow Dual pens you used.

+Elizabeth Clements Hi! I used a gold gelly roll and a burgundy tombow (I believe it was 837). If I remember, most of my washi was Maste + the Christmas collection from MT. Hope that helps!
