In our area (Pacific Northwest) we can collect cottonwood buds in the spring that are very soothing to the skin. They would make an excellent addition to your wonderful balm.

I'm going to make this, but don't know what 'Melaleuca, and a protective blend' are. Can you elaborate? Or recommend a substitute? Thanks!
@Flipflopbarnyard4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Melaleuca is the same as tea tree oil and the protective blend is also referred to as thieves oil blend. I don’t remember the exact oils in it as it comes blended but you can find the mix online. 😃

Is this balm ok for calves to have as they nurse from mom.
@Flipflopbarnyard3 жыл бұрын
We’ve never had any issue with it and the calves. 😊

Might make this recipe for hand protectant with a tiny bit of EOs, do you use it for that much? I have a lotion one, but need a recipe with more beeswax for hands
@Flipflopbarnyard6 жыл бұрын
If I were going to use it for a hand cream specifically, I'd add a little extra beeswax. I think the protective blend in a hand cream is a great idea!
