Just subscribed your Chanel the most I like is that you show how actual cars looks like detailed description and not trying just to make money and get rid of car. Well done 👍🏻

You started interior with vacuum. I'd recommend you get a powerful air compressor and blow every out first. An air compressor will make interior valets much much faster and more clean. Use air for cleaning plastics, areas you can get to air will blow out debris. Also get a big brush for washing cars, faster, easier on the body

Great deal, I can see why it’s cheap because of the brand but £150 seems very low, would of expected around £500 valuation, but I think you could advertise at £1995 and achieve in excess of £1750. Good to see you back

In mainland Europe, this thing in this condition (after detailing), would easily fetch 3-4K euros (if it was a LHD). But even in UK's context, i'm completely perplexed as to how this was valued at 150 pounds, destined for the scrapper?? The damn thing is in great mechanical condition. Even if it's a TD and the turbo was bad or the high pressure pump, you could still replace the parts and make a killing. Goes to show how bad our consumerism has really become - perfectly good things being thrown out without a care. Sad really. But great to see there are still people who undo these dumb decisions and, why not, make some extra cash for it.

As always really enjoyed watching another one of you videos, I find them really inspiring as I am trying to get into the buying and selling business myself. I am only starting out and as of yet have not found a car to prep etc. Thank for taking time to share these with us all 👍🏻

Looks like a bargain all round , nice clean up. i think 1500 isnt an unfair price and you have plenty of room in that price for movement.

I recently bought the 2013 3.2 petrol version with 30000km on it here in Australia for $10,000 and thought it was a bargain. £150 is a steal. My only issue with the car is the on board Navigation "feature". The map data supplied is from 2004 and to update to the latest data set requires a trip to the GM dealer with $1000 in hand ($500 for the data set and $500 for a firmware update ) so I can use map data from 2014!!! I've bought a dedicated Garmin unit to use. Cheers Eric

Good car. Interesting to see how well the heat gun trick works. You could get some of the service history off the internet, eg Car Vertical, and print it off. Are cotton bud tips better for touching in chips rather than a small brush?

Just a quick one. Iv been tempted to heat gun a few of the plastics on my car as well but I saw online it was meant to bad for the plastic and will eventually encourage it to fade more. Have you ever had an issue with it or does it tend to stay decent for a while?
@drivewaylife3 жыл бұрын
It's used as a last resort really. As it's not good for plastic one time fix
