After teaching for 46 years, I retired and lost my purpose in life. Found your channel and I'm Hooked on flipping furniture!!! I've only sold 6 pieces so far but the thrill I get when people pick them up is awesome. My best find was when an NFL player moved and threw out tons of furniture>Touchdown!!!!

Love what you're doing. Here's a couple of tips: Alway sand in a circular motion. It makes the finish much smoother. Always change out the foam on cushions. Don't neglect this step as foam can hide many nasty things. Where you can, change out any protective plastic or rubber tips on the bottom of furniture legs. It looks much better if they are not scratched and scuffed up. Best wishes.

@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher i hope you give yourself another goal. Working towards a goal has given your channel a new and original aspect that has made you stand out. Maybe your next goal could be a down-payment on a house. If you already own a house then maybe a fun wedding. 😉 my daughter was married 7 yrs ago on the weekend of Halloween. Everyone came in costume. She wore beautiful wings with her wedding dress. Abe & Mary Todd Lincoln attended a well as Mother Nature, Mary Poppins, Jane & Michael & Bert. We even had the dude from Caddyshack there. He of course had the gopher as his plus 1. A Hallowedding isn't for everyone but it proved that a wedding could be way more fun than the traditional celebration. I'm sure I'm not the only fan that would love to follow you as you work towards a wedding goal. 😉 just sayin'

This is an awesome video for two reasons. 1) Instead of being a victim of debt, you’re working hard to make sure it’s paid back and that you do it in a timely manner. Hard work does pay off!! 2) The skill set you have and are perfecting can be used for income and/or for fun and personal projects for years to come. Once you pay off your debt, you can start contributing to an IRA, and small business owners can actually contribute more than a standard employee. Truly amazing! Good and beautiful work as well! Congrats!!

I'm so impressed with your skills and talent along with paying off your student debt. I just retired 3 months ago after working in a High School for the past 20 years. My youngest daughter is also a Middle School Band Director since 2013. She went to a private university and in spite of the money we put towards her education and the scholarships she earned, she still graduated with $80,000 in student debt. I'm a CPA, so I suggested to her that when she graduates, she could continue to live at home as long as it took to pay off her loans, as long as the majority of her paycheck went to her loans. We put together a budget for her to pay her car expenses, insurance and fun money. Everything else went straight to pay off her loans. She made her final loan payment 2.5 years after graduating and was sooooo thankful for my advice and support. Have been enjoying all of your videos.

Goodness, I love that bedroom set that you did! I'm just starting with flipping... Found a TV entertainment stand for myself and painted it a greyish purple and spray painted the hardware with metallic rose gold. Might list it on Marketplace to see if it sells!

Been a fan since day 1! You’ve truly inspired me to get serious about furniture flipping, maybe even start my own channel so I can also become student loan debt free! So happy for you!

Girl, I just stumbled across your videos today. I’m obsessed with you!! I can tell you’re an incredible human. I’m so glad you are blowing up on YT! You deserve all the love! You remind me so much of my best friend (she is a first grade teacher), and I feel like we would get along so well if we met in person. I hope that this is taking you to your life goals!💕

Absolutely incredible!! I hope when you pay off your student loan debt (which will be soon) that you keep flipping and doing videos. And when your debt is done, I hope you buy yourself something nice as you work so hard! I have been collecting furniture in my garage to flip but I haven’t started yet but your videos are so encouraging. Thank you!

I appreciate your dedication to paying the student loan. I find you inspiring. I imagine your kindergarten students will benefit from your enthusiasm. And, your creativity is beautiful. Life with a purpose is rewarding. In your youtube channel, I feel I'm a kindergarten student at my senior age!

This is absolutely amazing. What are you going to put the flipping revenue towards after you smash your student loan debt out next month?
@louannhuber26513 жыл бұрын
Buy a house and pay it off. That would be cool.

You are by far the best furniture flip teacher out there. I have learned so much from you. Thank you.

So, I love all of this, but can we talk about how unjust it is that a full-time kindergarten teacher needs to do this to pay off her student loans?
@jill5523 жыл бұрын
What is unjust? Lauren could have dragged it out for years as some people do, but chose to get it off her plate. She is a wonderful example for other people with student debt.
@mammacass53113 жыл бұрын
@@jill552 I think Katherine is. Meaning a teacher shouldn’t have to do this someone educating our children shouldn’t have to pay for there school.

We don't live in a 1st world country. We live in USA. We are free to rack up decades of student loan and medical debt. 🤣🤪
