Hey Tom this is a bit of a weird idea but can you combine a team of the best players in the non top 30 leagues and see if the team can get champions league football

To stop all the bickering, you could make several teams with different degrees of exclusivity and see how they all do. Make a team with no top 5 league players Make a team with no top 10 league players Make a team with no top 25 league players Make a team with no top 50 league players And then drop them all in the National league and see what happens

What happened to Eastleigh and Chesterfield is actually common in this kind of experiment. And it happens naturally in the game, too. When small teams get important European spots - far more than they can chew - they're spread too thin. Not only are their squads smaller, but their infrastructure won't be able to handle all those journeys and matches - causing them to be much more tired than in top clubs. In FM22, playing in the Portuguese league, a random mid table team finished 2nd in my first season, granting them a Champs group stage berth. They tumbled from the CL to the EL and then finally Conference, playing a LOT of matches in the process, and ended up relegated in that season.

you should do this experiment but with a data pack maybe down to the top 10 leagues in england, it would be interesting because as it would take so long for teams to get to the top there current players would be retired. it would be a more extreme version of this one essentially

A flip it in the way that one regional league goes in the prem the next into the championship and so on and so forth, or you put 3 or 4 of the highest reputation teams from each league into the prem and put prem teams in the regional leagues

There have always been moments that they would want to put them together to make the football beter, but I would like to see what would happen with the bigger clubs, would they go down or stay up..
