That seller pretty much gave that GMC away for $800. The sales price of $3,100 is really low too for the current car market. The new owner was probably very happy with that price. Where I am even with that sort of mileage something like that would still sell for atleast $7,000.

I disagree with your logic on oil changes, etc: When reselling a high mileage car, buyers are worried about immediate repairs / maintenance. Oil, plugs, filters, even differential and trans fluids are very inexpensive. Having those “checked off the list” are huge for buyers.

It’s amazing how many people don’t bother to clean their cars up when they list them on marketplace. I recently bought and sold and there were so many filthy cars, which wouldn’t have bothered me too much since I love transforming / cleaning things, but they were still asking crazy amounts for them. When it was time to sell mine I detailed it the best I could (I can’t pull seats out, nor did I want to try), but for its age it looked and smelled immaculate! It sold really quickly to the first person who came and looked.

What an amazing car flip!!! That's so awesome!! I really like how the combination of Oxyclean and bio break really broke down all the grease and grime on the carpet floor. I can't wait for the giveaways to happen as well so I'm keeping an 👀 out. I would love to see more paint corrections as well as headliner restorations. Aside from that, this is a job well done. The car flipping market is so profitable.

I have a recommendation, consider changing the cabin air filter on these really nasty smelly vehicles. Also, the air ducts! Mequires make a product thats pretty good for air ducts. Its like a bug bomb, you just set it off, leave the car running for about 20 minutes with the ac on "circulate"

It looks like you've rented a separate garage space to do all your work. Yours is spacious and clean! Should that expense be part of the flip calculation since many of us will be doing this in our carports or home garage spaces.

Did he get this from a desperate Meth head? From what I see on Facebook marketplace, it’s always people asking way too much, firmly for shitty cars lol This could have really happened, but I feel like most owners would turn down 800 vs 1500 for a running/driving vehicle (especially an suv) in hopes that they could “try” to clean it up to get more for it if that was the only issue… That said, I do love this channel and the dirty-to-clean transformations are very satisfying even if the backstory isn’t 😅👍👍

One thing I wish I could find more is full ceramic coating details. I know it's probably expensive for customers to get but I love seeing the outside of a car get extremely taken care of. No polish spray but the actual polish pads with the polish cream, the clay barring part, and then full ceramic coating including tires. Haven't seen many of those and the cars are always beautiful and stunning afterwards!

A polishing video where there’s a daily driver, maybe doesn’t see much attention, but paint is still in ok shape. I kind of feel like there’s not enough videos to where something light like Chemical Guys Slick Finish( I believe it’s in liquid cleaner wax territory) is used compared to a polish to even a heavy cutting polish, and show what each product would produce for the end user, since clear coats are supposedly getting thinner.
