I always love the way you select pieces that are a challenge and this was no exception. I have to say at this point that I absolutely hate the trend to burn everything in sight and call it good. On this occasion I am dubious but still feel that a black stain, similar to the one you used on the handles may have been a better choice, but that's my dislike of burning taking over. I have never heard the phrase Batman Hardware before and intend to use it whenever I can. Brilliant description. The end product was as good as could be expected from what you had to work with and I cannot find any faults in your repairs. Keep 'em coming and look after your visitors/inspectors.

I absolutely love the piece you created with your laser. Burning the wood isn’t what I would have thought of, but I like how it turned out. The drawers before the hardware you added were so plain looking. But I love the pulls and the little label inserts. It opens the piece up to more functionality like a storage cabinet in a home office, an entryway piece, or a bedroom/living room piece. Really like how this turned out. NK you gave the piece more respect and appreciation than whoever did those red drawers.

You are so artistic ! I was surprised at your determination/patience in the redo's and it paid off. I admire the thoroughness of your work. The final results have a desirable energy that is a direct result of the love you pour into each project. And by "love" I refer to your self respect in maintaining such high standards of workmanship. Another thing I always think of is how much you have improved your workshop - it's a joy to behold.

That pink monstrosity brings back the memories. At some time in the 1950's, a defenseless little girl had that Disney-princess monstrosity thrust upon her, a piece that conveys "good girls are feminine, fancy, attractive and perfect," while the adult who gave it to her spent as little money and time on her as possible. My god, the brushstrokes! Were they even sober? In redesigning the piece you haven't just produced something beautiful, you have exorcised an imp.

Ohmygoodness I absolutely love what you did to bring beautiful, new life to the sad worn out (kind of ugly) dresser❗❗❗I wish I lived in the UK and had the means to purchase any of your pieces😁👌

Wow, Jay even though this project was a big pain in the back side, it looks stunning! It is just beautiful and the hardware and legs just enhances the uniqueness! As usual you pulled this ugly piece out of the dump and made it look gorgeous! Excellent job! 😊❤

Now THAT was an ugly duckling for sure, but you worked your magic on it and made it look fabulous! Don't you hate it when your plan takes longer to gel than you had planned?? The thing I love about your videos is that you don't let it get you down, you just step back, take a cat break and get back into the project. 😁😊

You are doing what I dreamed of doing as a young adult. But it never happened and I see I lack your creativity. To me, you are like “A conversation with wood” to see what it wants to Be. Bravo! - David H.

You are very talented and do a wonderful job on the restoration projects I have seen in your videos. I can't help feeling that your talents would be better used on higher quality pieces. Like beautiful Antique pieces with more luxury woods. But then, my own passion is Victorian and other Antiques.
