Flipships is way superior! You have SO much more control where the ships go using your finger over the Space Invaders launcher thing.

@@rabidpickle Ah, I misread your statement. Sounded like you meant you have more control using your finger over (meaning on top of) the Space Invader launcher. But you meant over as in "one has more control over the other"

We had a lot of nice shots with the launcher, and it is a dexterity game... So, you know, maybe the problem is not the launcher but your dexterity 👀

@@el_jhona8945 if the disc is not placed perfectly centered in the launcher, it goes off in a random direction. Never have that problem in Flip Ships. And how dare you question my Dexterity. I'll have you know my dexterity is an 18. 🙂

Flipships is out of print, designer says only space invaders going forward

I think it would be smart to add the woodblock launching platform, so players could have the option of the catapult or flicking. I personally prefer flicking, as I noticed a significant decrease of satisfaction in playing with the catapult.

I'd also love a 3-D Printed design for the catapult. I had both games and kept Flipships for the art and slightly higher quality components. I was equally bad with both flicking methods but loved the idea of that catapult!

Space Invaders all the way! The flicking mechanism in Flipships led to basically ZERO shots ever going where you want. Everyone hated it. Space Invaders was infinitely more fun and satisfying. We never played Flipships again.
