@ Steve flip side CT I just left a comment about our darling Charlie. I’ll be watching that video in detail soon. I’ve just come across it. I sort of ran out of time while writing... just wanted to say that I like to think that who he was and what he did somehow makes our loss of him very much worth while. Like if his life can mean all that it is more than worth needing to go through the loss of him, if we needed that and he needed that ending to have the first part ( his life and who he became and was ). I feel like it makes it all worthwhile. But yet we miss him. He is missed and not forgotten. And the STONES took his advice not to quit because of him but to keep going because of him...how he wanted it. That was very BIG of him and modest of him I think that he felt that way about it. Just taking a short break from writing. Still chugging about at this essay that never gets done. I wanted to leave one huge observation that I made as what I hope will be a HUGE COMPLIMENT to you Steve! This was it! Somehow I found myself watching one or two documentaries made by others yesterday and the day before. For those that are more in the know about STONES history I noticed right away that what they show doesn’t line up or match up with what they are saying. They might be talking Exile and STP period and what they show is from 1968 and 1969. People watching it might not know. But with your documentaries what you are talking about and what your are showing on video line up almost to the minute and second. Those by your work are weaving and completely about the same thing. I can’t separate what I’m SEEING and WHAT IM HEARING when I watch yours. That’s very well done. I think for many of the others they almost run a slide show of all these video cut ups and just talk over it. They might not even have seen it. It’s all just AD HOCKED together to try to look like a whole. But it’s really not. It’s all over the place. They jump around about what they are talking about too. That consistent thread just isn’t there!! It’s more like a jumbled up Dog’s Breakfast in a blender. Clearly they wanted to put something out and try to hype it up and make it sound kind of bling bling shiny without actually doing the work. They yet almost try to sound like some kind of authority. But most will see through it I think. Your own work is completely the very opposite I have observed. :) I usually don’t call people out but I let them know it too. There is much better out there. People should know it! It’s hard to TOP STEVE! what a great reference and historical record you provide. :)

Thank you Franc for commenting and letting me know. Cool to read.....there are some "so called fans" that have issues, but if I was on the outside looking in as a "true" fan, I would want to watch these also. EXILE PART 2 is being close to finishing, 3+ hours. That does not even include the STP TOUR I intended to do "only". Note: Part 2 & 3 is for donators. The public will see these at the end of the year. Will be looking at Sticky for next project for the public. cheers!! thanks for the support

@flip Side CT Steve Greg. Here. The essay I was working on is done and it was submitted last night around 11pm Titled: Solving the Mind-Body Problem. (An old problem that exists In Philosophy of Mind.) I was able to get down some of my original ideas in there for a potential solution to the age old problem. It was great to submit it! :) get that in the can and out there and off my back! On to the next one now.. Tuesday is another deadline. About Toronto....I eat sleep drink coffee smoke cigarettes and making my way to the University of Toronto and back downtown here...and that’s all I do...over and over. I don’t explore the city. I don’t see the rest of the city. I’ve not been to the train station since I got off the train on September 1st. I’m living in a pretty small world that consists of going down just one street each day on a street car and back again. So it might not be surprising that when everything you have and know is on that one street....Toronto might get a bit dull in the winter if all it means is going back and forth day in and day out. But I’m lucky too because some key things are on College street....the old American diner FRAN’s is one.....the supermarket is another and a few coffee shops. And the University. My street car just goes up and down it. College street turns into Carlton east to west after you cross Youge Street which is like a Main Street of Toronto in some ways. But I’m more or less existing up and down this one street going west to the University or East home. Yup you get tired of it but it is also a blessing that it is simple and I don’t have to go through the hassle of going all over the city just to get home or to the school. Awww but as far as the grind of the cold streets of downtown Toronto are concerned....I think city people are better at this gig than me. It seems to be water off a ducks back to them. I find it gritty and bleak to especially if you ever stop moving from A to B for a second. Better when you keep moving. Night time seems very safe downtown. Day time more people noise and hassle. I’m not a city boy so maybe I’m surprised at what a hassle it is to get from A to B whenever you go out. Getting a coffee on your way is blue murder most of the time. Life in Japan was EASY ! Nooo line ups hardly ever. Weather good in the winter. The streets don’t seem old and seedy like they often do here. You see a lot of down and out people here. They don’t mess with you but you brush shoulders with those that are down and out and hopeless and all messed up each and every day. You want to help them and you can’t and you just get tired of seeing all the starving homeless messed up hopeless sad people. You always got to ignore it and just get to where you are going. So you can’t really fully enjoy it out there....plus all the noise and sea of construction. I’ve seen enough construction to last me a life time. hahaha But once in a while you get a break and it goes smoothly. I don’t really understand what email you are talking about, Steve. On KZbin I have an email?? Very sorry I’m not aware of what that is. Greg

Hi, I'm new to your channel and liked what I saw and am now a subscriber. I passed on the Faces RSD release because it was all covers. My guess is Rod Stewart thought at the time that the broadcast may well be bootlegged and he wasn't about to put any songwriting royalties in jeopardy.

You should really be writing books and making professional movies. I've read every Stones book written in the English language and you still come up with things I'm not familiar with. As a Brit I could help you with some of the pronunciation of places, like Cheyne Walk- It's pronounced "CHANIE". These streets are hundreds of years old. Keith's place you referred to in Chichester (next to Redlands) is pronounced chich-ister as in sister. I also lived next door to Ronnie and Jo Wood. You need to get over to the UK and see these places- and bring your camera. Watching Goats Head next, and will need new content soon! Keep up the great work.
@FlipSideCT3 ай бұрын
Hey Bobby, thank you so much for your support and commenting. Appreciated! I know the pronunciation is off, I would like to say it correctly but if I don't, it does not bother me. There are many folks that do not pronounce words here or different dialects, but as long as I know what they mean, I am good. Parameter or "Para meter", Schedule or "Shed a ule" does not matter. If I bring the content that means more. I owe a lot to many authors. The asset I bring is the compiling of multiple resources into a coherent fulfilled deeper timeline. So many facts in a nice flow, and then scripting it / editing / and putting together the visual aides. thanks again!
