How about including a spare battery ? 45 minutes run time is pretty short for something that will be super popular…
@DIVEindotcom-boating2 ай бұрын
@TerrySylvester-ip9on The 45 minutes is with the Nano battery. It weighs 13.7 lbs vs the Flitecell Sport, which weights 10 more pounds but provides "up to" 90 minutes of flight time. We can vouch for the amazing portability of the Air with the Nano, but that obviously comes with a compromise on time as you point out.

So are we seeing the same performance with air pro as the pro? Are there any catches?
@DIVEindotcom-boating2 ай бұрын
No, it's not the same performance, as with the Flite Board pro (67l) board. It sticks a bit harder to the water (a bit, and much less than the old large flite Air board) and the size of the board makes it a bit less playful. More comparable to the Fliteboard (100l) board. It's great for the price, transport, and durability - as the air bladder protects the board ( and you if you fall on the board). The hard boards will properly always be better, but that does not make this a bad choice. You get a Fliteboard for a good price, and you can always upgrade the board later, but keep the mast etc.

So what does it look like deflated? How much space does it then take to transport or store?
@eFoilLakePowell6 ай бұрын
Best would be to send Flite a message. But based on the explained construction 2:22 I'd guess that it'll take up about 3-4 ft in length. I have fully ridged eFoils. I can put two of them completely inside my Camry. I put the passenger seat down with the headrest removed. I can then put two boards on top of each other lengthwise with the car. Mast's in back. Batteries on floorboard and still room for one passenger. I bet I could transport myself, 2 passengers and 3 of these AIR eFoils disassembled in the same vehicle.

@bobbyk367 @eFoilLakePowell We have an image of the board deflated on the review page. We never saw how the package itself gets shipped. It was the weekend of launch that we got to play with it--a demo kit.

How loud is it when riding? I live on a lake with neighbors who are not too excited by powered craft. I keep hearing how quiet the LIft boards are, is this true?
@DIVEindotcom-boating4 ай бұрын
It's electric, so you don't have a noisy engine or anything annoying neighbors. There's a slight "whistling" sound when you're riding it, but that's only you that will hear this.

Amazing. The price is still a little too steep. Love the product, price really not holding me back its not being near water that is the issue for me.
@DIVEindotcom-boating5 ай бұрын
Well, it's not a small amount, but this price and quality are great compared to many of the other boards on the market.

@@DIVEindotcom-boating i would totally have one already if i lived near a body of water. I am really into electric longboards. I have two evolve longboards. I feel like if i had a chance to try foiling i would pick it up quickly. Amazing product.

Why is Flite cannibalizing the Marc Newson boards?
@DIVEindotcom-boating5 ай бұрын
These bords are in the opposite price range. The new AIR boards are budget "friendly" boards, and the Marc Newson are high-end.

how fast can you go
@DIVEindotcom-boating4 ай бұрын
The Flite Air can go to speeds around 50 km/h. That said, you'll have plenty of fun riding slower than this!
