Josh's was by far the most controllable and efficient. I see that design continued in principle to help the battleship fly.

Josh's design is more supportive of the (eventual) gun capability. Nut ball can only lob mortars.

I'd just like to appreciate how good they have gotten at getting air to air footage. If you look back to some of their first videos and compare the air to air with the newer ones, its quite impressive. Keep up the good work guys!

Build the nutball! The "wings" could fold down and it'll look like a tank. When the A10 attack it can surprise the airplane by deploying the wings and chase it in the air!

I love all three designs. The nutball looks more like a tank but the canard one flies great. If you can make the Nutball one fly better with a flight controller I would go with it, otherwise I say the canard version wins.

Josh's plane/tank by far the best design. A nutball has no place in real aviation. Stephan's not bad but scaling up would need larger wings for the bigger tank and those are off the shelf so don't know how that would work unless you reverse engineered them into foam board. Either way, Josh's has great flight characteristics including stability.

Hi guys! *Today i flew my scratch built FT 3D for the first time!* It was my first full flight with landing gear. I was succesfully off on the 2nd take, because the first try failed due to the fact that i forgot 1 extra battery in it and it was super heavy. I crashed on takeoff and broke the elevator and the motor mount. Everything was fixed within an hour and the next day i was off. It flew great, thank u so much for your work!

It's GOT to be the NutballTank, it just HAS TO! ALSO: With the Nutball version, you can make the "wings" fold down on the sides so you can still drive it around like a "normal" tank! :D

The second design was definitely the best: superior control, flew inverted, and took off and landed with ease. Though the nutball is definitely my favourite for hilarity it wouldn't be as practical against an A10

Sitting here at the kitchen table with the Hopper boys: Luik and Judah vote for Josh’s, Levi likes Jeremy’s, and I want to see Stephan’s fly (‘cause it’s a glorified wing). ;) But, at the end of the day, we all think that Josh’s is the most stable and enjoyable design. Can’t wait for the next installment!
