Yes! Air brakes will really help slow the plane down. I'm worried (like others) the Gs pulling out of a dive, the force on the wings is going to be a lot for a foam wing. Will need a lot of reinforcement.

The Germans did not only had a siren on their plane..>They also Attached cardboard tubes to the fins of the bomb which gives the characteristic whitelisting sound when it comes down. and for the next projectile,...put a few ounces of flour in it...great effect on impact

My great grandpa got attacked by these in Gratangen, Norway during the war. He survived, but had nightmares and woke up from plane noises at night until he died. These sirens did what they were meant to do I guess.

thats not makeable to realize. the frequence of the sirenes tone depends on its size so you cant generate the frequenz of a original sirene whith ist much bigger. second thing that maybe could be done, the sirene on the original ist rotated by a propeller so the sound "rises" by the lenght of the dive when the rpm become higher. amotor powerd sirene of cause generates only a continuos equal sound.

Fun fact 2: The sirens on the Stuka weren’t just big fat sirens, they were small props on the wings that when diving, the props would play a sound due to wind and speed.

The air speed turned the prop powering the siren meaning that the siren only sounded properly when at a high air speed

The Stuka sirens or the Jericho trumpet were not actual sirens they were unpowered propellors on the landing gear the faster they spun the louder they were however this had an effect on the performance of both the plane and the 2 crew members on the plane the tail gunners and the pilots of the Junkers said that the sirens are very distracting the sirens also lowered the planes max speed 14:11 you went over the speed limit and the air friction tore it apart

Wonder how hard it would be to build a working "Jericho" wind-activated siren? The frequency would rise with airspeed, but necessarily only with high speed of a dive. Sounds a bit complicated to get right.
