I 've only got 70Km but I noticed the pole issue. Some cracking sound when moving the pole, but it stopped after I tightened the external screws at the base of the pole. Now I check them before each trip. I didn't need to go as far as to tighten the inner ones. Fingers crossed! Anyway it would be interesting to know the exact screws size if repair is needed. The pole plastic part would be more difficult to get if FLJ don't provide it (maybe a 3d printer?). Hope you get through the glue problem and arrive to the 4000Km goal!

Hi, you better tighten the inner bolts. The platic is just there for 2 reasons: 1. to decorate 2. to keep the scooter carbon fiber pole in place when folded. It is no way to be used to keep the carbon pole tightened. You'll end up in using the holes around these bolts in the long run. Just unscrew them and tighten the inner bolts. You'll notice the difference right away.

I thought they were for something more, thanks for the info!. After your comment I unscrewed the outer ones and checked that the inner ones are ok (and they seem ok). So now I don't understand where the cracking sound came and how it went. Maybe now I drive more carefully, not pushing the pole back and forward and using more my body when braking or speeding up.

So, in the end, how has it been' now, one year later? Are you at 2000km yet? I'm considering to buy one...

Thank you for the videos. I have about 30 miles on my scooter so far. I ordered mine from aliexpress, but it did not say FLJ. Aliexpress sells many of them. Are they all basically the same thing just branded different? Or does one use higher quality components? Also, do you have information on repair parts and instructions on repair? Such as back wheel, motor, controller?

Hi I just removed the screws from my scooters handle according to your video in order to adjust the flex. I have the 5200mah one with the adjustable handle and when I removed the screws, the slots for the screws got moved from the inside of the handlbar and have no way to reattach them except tearing down the whole handlebar. Any guide on how to fix this? And I cant see any tiny screws at the back of the plastic covering you just mentioned. I cant use my scooter anymore. Please help reply asap. Thanks,

Hi Kurt, I live in Chicago where it's very flat, however, I live right by an enormous lake where it's very windy. Can the wind also affect the scooter speed? I weigh about 82 kgs.

Don't worry about the screws man, They get loose but it won't cause any issues. Glue is definitely not the way to go. Btw, I have to keep up mine has only 500 km in.

Thank you for the updates on this scooter! I just bought one yesterday from a local dealer here in Singapore. Totally enjoying the ride so far :) Just a question regarding the built-in LED light. I'm concerned about the light constantly draining power from the battery, even if the light is not turned on. Do you think this a possible issue? I was thinking of cutting the wires of the light, so it's totally disconnected from the battery.

Hi Kurt, My S3 electric scooter's brake started to cut in all by itself (automatically) since last couple of weeks and I have to stop using it is very dangerous to ride it - nearly had an accident a few times. Every time this happens, I have to stop and wait for a few minutes before I could use the scooter again. Have you experienced this problem before? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kurt! Saw that you're planning on selling these. I'm definitely interested too! Planning to buy one but prefer buying from a local supplier rather then directly from AliExpress. I'm based in NL by the way. What are you planning on charging for it?
@oz4577 жыл бұрын
Hello Leon, I have ordered them from the factory, not from FLJ. There are 8 pieces on my way, they should be here within 30 days from today. You can send me an email to me, I will contact you as soon they arrived. My email address is kurt atsign skynet dot be. You'll figure out my email. Just want to avoid my email being spammed by writing it this way. I have ordered 5 pieces of the s3 model and 3 pieces of the s5 (hero) model. As this is my first order from the factory, I guess they will do a special effort to check the quality. I will also be there to help you out. You can come and collect it here in Belgium when they arrived. I now have 900 km on my scooter, and once you start to drive with these, you will never look back to the bicycle any more. They are really a fantastic way to travel and fun too. I will make a seperate video about which one to choose. The shipping cost is very high, as it is shipped with express and not with container load to Belgium. Therefor the prices will be for the s3 model 549 euro and for the s5 model 679 euro. Please note that of the s5 model one is already sold and the second one will be the one I will keep for myself. The profit margin is small for me, because I'm selling them for fun. I have another business, nothing to do with scooters. Kind regards.

Hi, do you think in the future we will be able to buy just the tyre for this scooter? For now i think you have to buy the motor just for the tyre which is very bad in my opinion..everybody should know this before buying this type os scooter ...

Hi, Kurt. Thank you very much for the review of our carbon fibre scooter. We call it Street Rat. =) Please, note that FLJ is only a brand and not the manufacturer of this model. Also, note that this model was already copied by many manufacturers in China. In any way, we are glad you like your scooter. The display issue was already solved. When you bought your new scooter it just came on the market and it was not tested in pure sun at that time. If you need any spare parts, let us know. Last but not least, you might want to change your current bell with this stylish black bell. It fits perfectly to your scooter's handlebar. =) skutis.co/product/stylish-black-bell/ Best regards from Bali, Your Skutis Corporation team. =)

Hi, Thanks for these videos. I have some questions and hope to get your answer. Do you know which company developed this product? I have never heard about FLJ. Does it charge the battery when it is going downhill? Do you know if it is comfortable to commute for 10km twice every day? The road is a normal cycling road with some short ups and downs, and I am about 55kg. Is it possible to lock it to a pole using a normal lock? Is it easy to find some back bag to carry it around? Thank you in advance!
