@@andygotti-lt4ew Yup! You're right. Energy maintenance and mental capacity is that "5th resource" of SC2, especially in a BO7. Not everyone can perform this way for 2 hours. Epic matches overall though. GG WP

That was awesome! As a Gumiho fan, I'm incredibly biased, but this is certainly the best finals I've seen in 2024! SPOILER Gumiho doing a near reverse sweep after being 3-1 down was just amazing! Wish he went mech and/or Battlecruisers at least once in a best of 7, but it was still really cool to watch!

Never really played Protoss, but one thing I almost never see is the use of hallucinated units. I would love to see Protoss with 4 Sentries and like 4 hallucinated disruptors with or without real disruptors, I think it would be interesting to see how terran dealt with trying to figure out with balls were real and which one were fake, and they may be less inclined to stim in and focus down a disruptor just to find it was a hallucination. Imagine 3 colossi, with 3 hallucinated colossi, and trying to make the vikings figure out which one is the real one, how hard would it be for them to try and target the real ones? Or some fake immortals mixed in with real units. Another trick might be if you have your army split, and you hallucinate one to trick them into thinking the bigger force was somewhere else. Draw vikings away from real colossi, or draw tank fire on fake immortals. Fake phoenix mixed with real ones so they are harder to figure out which ones to target down. Hallucinated Dark Templar mixed in with real ones. Make them waste their scans on fake DTs, and question which ones might be real or not, if they dont use scans then you can use them for vision. You get guardian shield and forcefield as a bonus if you end up having to use them before you can use stage an attack with or set up a false army.

It's a cool idea in theory, but Terrans are constantly scanning. That's the thing. They never engage without it. So many Protoss players consider hallucinations during combat to be less beneficial than the shields.

Just wanted to chime in from Finland about drinking while you're doing your service. Now I did my service ages ago so things may have changed but most weekends are free and usually the drinking started on the bus from the base back home 😂 I kinda doubt Serral would do that, he doesn't strike me as a heavy drinker (you can correct me if I'm wrong), but for a lot of people military service is a time with heavy drinking 😄 I've known people to start on the bus home on Friday and only stop on the bus back to base on Sunday 😅

Showtimes mass gate strat works.... but just not for him. He could throw a whole army away at the frotn and build entire army on terran production. Instead he uses it as a reinforce but always takes bad fights because he is not decisive enough.
