My friends and I set off on the first leg of our Rwandan road trip today, driving around three-and-a-half hours up to Gisenyi, on Rwanda's northern border with DRC.

It can pick you up from Amariza Bar, about a five minute walk from Inzu.

They have recently started charging for the pool. The receptionist quoted us $20, then $10, and eventually it turned up as $7 per person on our bill. Worth checking before you get in. Some days they play music very loud, so it's not as relaxing, but on days when it's quiet it's very pleasant.
