Hi Christine, first of all thank you for your lovely comment. In answer to your question, when you say crimp bead, I am presuming you just mean the crimp? If so, your crimp cover needs to be slightly bigger than your crimp. The ones we sell at Beads Unlimited are 3mm which fit perfectly.

Could do with being a bit closer as your top is hiding the work, also the crimp covers have to be equal so the join is the same way round on each side.. bit untidy as some are upside down.. especially if you plan to sell items..

When she says turn 90 degrees she means 180 degrees in other words flip the tool over to the other side.... I guess to balance out the difference in pressure closer to the handle as opposed to the pressure at the end of the tool...
