You've got a lovely view out your kitchen door, who could ask for more on a bright sunny morning? lol. I love motorhomes. I bought a 34 ft. Heritage back in 1984 and left it in Michigan and my sister used it all summer to go camping with her Grandkids, they all loved it. Enough of that, I certainly wish I was out there with you two and the pups. Thanks for sharing all the sights with all of us.

Percy a lovely little extension to your living accommodation, the getaway vehicle for trips away, we've owned touring caravans for many years, our current abbey vogue though now getting a little old is stored in secure storage at the site we mainly use it, it's what we can our chill out zone 😂 . Beautiful RV, we use our microwave to store our bread…. lol. I’m so excited…. They make these spring loaded rods. They kinda look like a shower curtain rod and they fit perfectly inside the cabinets so the stuff doesn’t fall out. I think I bought them on Amazon.

Hi Fran And Rich, we did a similar thing 9 years ago having cruised the whole system over 38 years. As we were getting towards 70 we felt there was so much else to see, bought a motorhome and have not looked back, using sites to pitch up you see much more than just travelling to a hotel or similar. One suggestion we would make is get a sat nav that you can put your van dimensions in, it saves a lot of stress of ending up in country lanes! There is so much to see in this country but when you have a chance the Outer Hebrides are stunning and would really appeal to you both.

Oh I like Percy. Looks so cozy and comfy and so, so easy to keep clean. Hubby and I did camping with a travel trailer for several years and we looked at it as our "home away from home'. Simple, but we so enjoyed the different locations we went. You'll love it. We all hope you'll have time to record and share your experiences with us. Take care. ENJOY!

I love Percy, just a nice size for you guys and the doggies. You could buy a couple of folding wooden TV tables for your drinks/snacks/laptops, we got ours from Dunelm, it was £12. It’s great and stows away. Happy campervanning. X

As time goes by you will find lots of additions to make life on the road more comfortable. Some things for consideration; a couple of comfy folding chairs for using under the awning or visiting fellow campers, a quantity of old bath towels for using as floor mats when both you and the dogs have been on wet grass, a low folding stool to use as leg extentions to get to the back of those top cupboards and also makes a great side table between your couches for your cups of tea, a rubber mat to put on the ground outside the door to help reduce the amount of grass and gravel getting carried in on your feet. Drain, flush and treat your water tank annually with a food safe disinfectant such as hydrogen peroxide (food grade). Their are a million other tips I cold give you after having had motorhomes here in Australia for 15 plus years. You will enjoy your camping life. Gary

Stuff pillows, cushions into the cupboards to stop rattling and also help prevent things falling out. A good torch is always useful :) Have fun, we love our campervan :)

Super nice RV perfect size and well equipped for keeping you comfortable when travelling. I think the RV will make life a bit easier for you by eliminating the necessity of relying on public transit to get to doctors appointments etc. Being able to include your dogs when you travel to visit family and friends knowing that at the end of the day you will be able to relax and sleep in your own bed 😃😃 Looking forward to seeing your RV adventures. what a nice little van, it will be just like driving a car and you will have your home with you. We had boats for 25 years then switched to a motor home and then a trailer(caravan). You will love it. bravo, ya'll we lived on the road for almost 10 years, only we were in a 32 footer, more room but basically the same as living on a narrow boat. We had a grand time, but brought it to an end, we needed stuff around us lol. You will find many ways to utilize every inch of you new home, but of course you already know how to do that. Have fun and enjoy your travels. We are in Arizona!

Perfect little Percy! Having had caravans before the boat, I love the mobile home life. Some great little CL sites around the country including my favourite ever place Higher Bochym CL on the Lizard in Cornwall. You two would love the unspoilt beauty of that area. Just a point, the warning on your bbq point refers to not using within a full awning not the open style you have currently. Enjoy your travels xxx

We used to do this combination about 25 years ago. We had a 70 foot Hudson tug. and also we had an auto sleeper executive. What we did was to use the motorhome in the winter time touring round Portugal and Spain. Portugal in particular is brilliant for winter touring because the campsites all have bargain rates.

Thanks for the tour of Percy. He looks to be a very nice camper with all the mod cons. Some really nice extras, like the external shower, great as a dog wash! Lots of nice external hook ups, in fact. Inside, very nice kitchen. Some nice storage. That stove looks brilliant. Didn't see the sink, I'm assuming it's a single basin? Nice little fridge. Bathroom is nice, great to have an included shower. The two couches look comfy. Not sure I'd like having to make up a bed night/morning, but I'm sure you get used to it. I don't understand why you wouldn't hook up the TV, since you mentioned watching KZbin videos. But having laptops with, I guess that makes it redundant. It's a lovely little motorhome. Hope it serves you well on many happy adventures!
