I absolutely love each and every aspect of this series - the storytelling, the cinematography, the silly little mixups during explinations.. It gives me motivation to keep on running, so thanks to everyone producing this content, and especially to You, Eric. Rooting for You, go get it in Boston, I’ll do the same in Berlin this september.

What I like about your series is that it’s well documented, not just running but also how to balance running and life, which I think is really important. I have been living like you, wearing COROS, drinking BPN, trying my best to mimic your workouts, and this human experiment will face its test on 4.14, I’m curious how applicable your strategies and trainings are to other people. Btw it will be m first marathon. Hope I live.

@@GCDznI’m proud to say that I get 1:22:xx at the NYC half today. What that means to me you ask? Well it’s a 30 min huge PR since last summer. Felt extremely confident from this tune-up race. Might get that BQ time next month!

@@GCDzn okay I did my first full marathon, ran pretty conservatively, even split the course and hit 2:56:4x this very morning. I’m so happy I’m telling the entire universe, including complete strangers on the internet

It's tripping me out to see you doing your runs where I've been doing all of mine! So glad to have you in Nashville this last week. Didn't get the opportunity to meet you at the screening but the film was an 11/10. Everyone NEEDS to see it when they have the chance. I'm hoping it comes out on streaming so I can watch it again 🙌

Your right Arm swing falls asleep pretty often. The Camera seems to wake it up the closer it comes 😊 The Guy with 247 on His Back is stepping well over the Center Line with both feet. This creates a hip Rotation that forces him to counter-swing with his Arms which makes also his upper Body rotate.

Great video, Eric. Thank you. Funny you mention treadmills - I don't know why people get so snooty about their efficacy. An awful lot of professional marathoners use a combination of road and belt! But there's also necessity. I live in Queensland, Australia: even though we're officially through Summer, right now it is still well over 80degF + 60-70% humidity every day. I'm 17 weeks out from a (mid-Winter) marathon, about to start my main training block. I literally have no choice but to use the treadmill if I want to properly get my tempo sessions done, my interval work, and so on. Even doing say a 5km race pace segment in my weekend long run is very taxing, irrespective of hydration and fuelling. I choose the achievement of target paces and distances over injuries caused by poor form/over-use any day!
