26 lbs heavier and young is a big advantage but gotta give him props, meregali is a savage

I looked Rocha up, and he has a decent history in the past 3 years for an older guy. Mad respect to both of them.
@BenEddy6 ай бұрын
Gordon being able to not only win, but choose the submission he’ll win by is always in Meregalis head. His first comments immediately are about again why he couldn’t uphold last matches submission prediction, but how he was able to do it this time.. He really should let that go. Just focus on being an exciting winner, no need to predict. Don’t add that pressure to yourself. It just continues the feedback from fans of copying Gordon in personality too much. Surprise yourself, surprise us 👍

The shrug after the match seems like Gordon’s influence on Meregali. Meregali is clearly really talented tho.
@danielbelcab6 ай бұрын
He's actually shooting himself in the foot. Why would anyone's interest on him increase when he's acting and forcing unecessary comparisons between him and basically a better version of himself? It doesn't help that he tries to portray this character in Brazil as well, a people that is inherently opposed to cocky behavior.

@danielbelcab6 ай бұрын
This level of BJJ is equivalent to grandmaster level in chess playing. Once you see that a position is already lost, there is no point in prolonging it. The game is done all the same. It is also a good way of avoiding unnecessary injuries, especially for a guy like Wagner who's up there in age and certainly doesn't have the elbows of a young 20yo.
