I remember training with a black belt gi champion (way below meragali's level), and before the round he apologizes because he cannot take it easy or slow down so close to competition, he has to be ready. That was the round that inspired me to start wearing a mouthguard.

Everybody watching knowing two things: 1 there is no way both Gordon and Meregali can coexist forever in the same building with their egos and 2 it would actually not be Gordon crushing another can and we’d get some real threat out of it. I mean the cost would be probably be another team ripping apart lol but it would be a great match and then really funny. Same goes for if they compete in the same bracket in ADCC

I feel like this is some kind of specific training? He's working that submission every time and his training parter gives up his half guard at one point and doesn't really seem to be moving much all that much when it hits the ground. I'm sure Meregali is good enough to control anyone but it doesn't exactly look like a hard roll right here. but maybe I'm just dumb, idk

Been doing BJJ nogi for only 4 months now and Im all the time watching these sparring videos. I don't get what kind of submision is this, the one he uses to submit the other guy most of the times. He is on mount and blocks the two arms. Then he elevates the oponents body and put his foot underneath. I can not appreciate an arm extension so not sure is he is just not able to breath or what. Would appreciate id anyone could sort this doubt I have.
