friendly advice - never sit on the bonnet while driving ( like in the intro) if there will be a rock or bump and she will be falling in front - she might not be able to jump and get her leg from behind the bullbar - and open fractures are nasty especially in the remote

I think she understood that risk

I've come across a Mountain bike rider with a compound fracture just below his hip. Apart from the excruciating pain and massive blood loss he was lucky I had the skills to literally save his life, all within only 1 hour from Myrtleford hospital. So you don't have to be far for it to be life threatening. I do agree that riding on a bonnet like that can seem harmless and a bit of fun but 4x4's and river crossings can be dangerous.

Hope your happy about getting in your 2cents, he was doing like 3kph I'm sure he would stop immediately if she where to start falling and to add its not your life so you opinion is obsolete

Great video Brad. A bit more interesting than my recent drive to Adelaide, though given I had a full load of furniture in the car I don't think all the corners would have been as much fun!!

Great vid guys. Love the presenting and enthusiasm! A couple of things tho, make sure you get your facts right. That long 90m river crossing is at Kingswell Bridge not McKillops Bridge as you mentioned. McKillops is on the snowy river in the far east of the VHC. The other thing is if you took Mcmillans Rd from Talbotville then you only did the first 5 crossings of the Crooked River which in full has 29 river crossings so you really only did part of the Crooked River Track. Just saying! 🍻👍🏻

Thanks mate ! Picked up on that one after when we got to camp 😂 and we did all 29, just didn’t show it on camera as that would get a bit boring Ahha

@@AlwaysTouringI reckon that the more picturesque and definitely more challenging entry’s and exits are between Talbotville and Bulltown Spur track … definitely not boring that’s for sure. Love the energy you bring to your channel.

your thumbnail is super low res for this vid. lots of work to do with colour balancing and saturation in this and other vids. not sure what the content difference is with so many other channels. you both present fairly well. all the best
@AlwaysTouring10 ай бұрын
Not quite sure what problem you are referring to with the colour balancing and saturation !
@alex.caddell10 ай бұрын
@andsam for example in this vid 3:43 has the colours up OK 7:50 the low light is dull 7:55 then the colour is washed out and looks overexposed 10:25 is dull and flat 11:29 to much greens and reds 19:36 its like it almost has a dull filter over everything im no videographer or photographer, just saying there is plenty of growth left to get it all balanced from shot to shot. ok !
