This fix worked for me! However I would recommend removing the air filter, much easier to remove the spark plug with it out of the way.

Why does it flood in the first place ?…maybe a brief starting procedure mentioned would eliminate the need for removing spark plug and cycling it …I’ve got the exact same saw but never had an issue with this…is there a mechanical failure that a part needs to be addressed?

If you’re out in the field and the saw floods, all ya do is pull the plug….hold the saw so facing towards the ground (like the muffler facing the ground) then pull the engine over numerous times to clear out excess fuel….if it’s flooded bad you’ll see raw fuel coming out of the exhaust … Let it sit for a few minutes for fuel to evaporate then put the plug back in …..you may have to hold the trigger wide open also when attempting to start.

Great simple video, my friend, thanks👌 I have a question! My MS 250 Stihl chainsaw, after I use it for a while, it stops and doesn't start again for some time! And from this video I just realised that it doesn't have that air restrictor piece (winter/summer shutter?). Could it be a reason for it to stop? Thanks in advance, by the way.
