Flooding Aprilia Pegaso & BMW F650 Mikuni BST 33 Carb Fix

Useful... How To replace float valves and / or more often the case replace / renew the common faulty O-Rings: part number is 13112343398 of the float valve female seat. The old o-rings harden up and let petrol pass by which overfills the bowl; hence causes the bike to flood.

The bikes behavioural symptoms of coughing & sputtering from this flooding are similar to the bike's running out of fuel behaviour but it's too much fuel choking it.
