I'm skating at 30 too bro. Honestly I skated I little when I was like 12 or 13 but never learned anything more than like an ollie and a fakie shuv. As an adult I have more control of my body and understanding of body mechanics and everything just makes more sense. I'm learning and it's super fun. I got way more trick than I ever did as a kid.

Aaron! Over 30 gang here. 37yo mildly overweight dude trying to learn stuff. I've had a slew of injuries over the past year and half. Broken wrist/arm, ribs, dislocated elbow, and most recently broke my leg and ankle. That latest injury has healed for the most part thanks to pins and rods, except for some weird muscle and confidence issues. Been skating and documenting my journey on my channel. Just wanted to put this out there just to say you've been a huge inspiration to me as we're the same age. So it's comforting to know that old dudes like us have the ability to stay engaged and progress. So just wanted to say thanks and I appreciate ya. Great new additions to the team as well, I've been following all these people for awhile now so it's cool to see them all here.

I'm 44 years old..born in 76. I skated from the ages of 13 to 15 almost everyday. My Dad even built me a half pipe. Being from Manchester England in 1992 roller skating with wide Axel's became much more popular and skateboarding took a nose dive. I switched to roller skating until I was about 16. The roller rink in Wigan then got closed down. I then bought a mini and completely stopped all skating. College, uni, years go by. Now due to Covid, lockdown, boredom and your videos my daughter 11 son 13, son 18 and myself have all bought new boards and areskateboarding and I cannot believe 30 years later I can still Ollie. My daughter who is a fantastic gymnast learned how to Ollie in about 5 mins, it took me 5 weeks. We are having so much fun. A few things have changed, noone seems to use rails on their boards, dropping in seems way scarier and the trousers are skinny! Bring back the baggies I say!

Hey Aaron. 30+ gang here. I skated a little bit 20 years ago. Just a few basic tricks. Started it up again taking it more seriously in April during lockdown at 39 years old. Already much better than I was back in the day. Learnt pop shove-its, frontside 180s, Nollie front shoves, kick flips, landed some varial flips and fakie flips as well. Absolutely loving it. It was watching your videos that made me want to skate again.

Started at 11, able to do a few tricks. Then started to get in a lot of trouble at 15. Never really skated again until last year. Fell of a roof in 2019, shattered one heel, broke the other. They told me I wouldn’t be able to play football(soccer) amongst other things.. while in a wheelchair, not able to do anything, I was killing time with watching the x games. And I really felt bad, thought I wouldn’t be able to skate anymore, even though I really loved doing it. After learning how to walk again, they removed the 13 screws and a metal plate out of my heel, I immediately bought me a skateboard and used it as a goal. Now I’m almost 32, able to ollie again, do a shove it, fs 180. On my way to landing a kickflip...🤙🏼 Really love the video’s guys, it’s motivating and highly entertaining!! I'm not 30 but I just turned 22 today and have had a total of like 10 hours at the skatepark. For that 10 hours I've dropped into the bowl, almost landed a kick flip a pop shuv and a heel flip now! Also faced my fear of heights and dropped in the biggest drop in at the park and had no issues. Braille really got me into skating I have wanted to skate since I was a kid but it never happened. I'm so happy skating and excited to see what I can learn and what my limits are!
