I am European and I spell "favourite". That how I learned how to spell it in school. That is how the European government spells it. Basicly it is the European spelling of the word. Not saying you can't spell American if you're European, but I assume you don't spell your Spanish as the South-Americans do?

@@PendelSteven the good thing about languages is that they offer freedom of choice and flexibility. Not because I'm from Spain does it mean I have to be using British spelling. Most music nowadays and most series and movies have an American accent and that influences people a lot. Not only did that influence me, but it also made me grow fonder of it. Ever since, I've been using it without anybody or any institution telling me I should do otherwise. I studied English Philology at uni and did a course to prepare for the C2 test, which I passed, and for both things I was always told I had the liberty to use whatever variety of English I wanted so long as I was consistent.

The most atypical song on the Northward album but one of the best (I wish it were longer, just so we could spend more time with her voice). The album showcases a different aspect of Floor's singing (and it's great), mainly in a straight-ahead metal genre. This song is, along with Father Ted and Father Dougal's My Lovely Horse, one of my favourite songs about horses.
