Just watched your video, Flora and Note, and it was like a time machine taking me back to my own adventure to NamoBouddha around five years ago. The muddy, potholed roads that made us abandon the bus and embark on an impromptu hour-long hike, the delight of buying fresh cucumbers from local vendors, the camaraderie we shared while munching on them - it's all so vivid now. Tashidelek is not necessarily Buddhist related actually it is a way of saying Hello or Namaste in Tibetan language so since people living in Mountain like Sherpa, Hyolmo, Dolpo, Manange, Mustange, Bhutanese have similar culture and speaks languages which are similar to Tibetan or a dialect of Tibetan they use Tashidelek and other words to greet but Tashidelek is the most common one.
