Why do people feel the need to point out his sexuality all the damn time? It’s unnecessary and negates everything else about the man. He was a human being with a family and friends and someone who enjoyed his craft. Why is there a need to make this man all about his sexual preference? First of all, so called "Robert Reed" wasn't his real name. There was nothing wrong with his actual birth name, John Robert Rietz Jr He obviously "sold out" his birth name because of the shallowness of the entertainment industry?! Most likely the change was made as the result of a greedy Business Manager, with perceived notions of greater recognition accompanied with monetary gains? In reality, it's also shows blatant disrespect for one's parents & their family heritage, just to possibly obtain (not earn) a greater buck?!
